As a whale collector, I really hate these reskin vehicles that they put into a loot box along with an actually new tank.

Pro tip: when about to play that greenlight guessing game just hover your finger over the printscreen key. Then the moment all of the symbols are up press the key and open up the image in paint. It will save you some time.

I genuinely enjoy Steel Hunter - lot of things they can do to it to make it better, but It's far more chill than randoms, and the rewards are normally worth it - far less time consuming than FrontLine etc.

WG can pump out new boxes and premium tanks every month and make them better and better, but it takes them half a year or more to balance a handful of tech-tree tanks at once and even when they do, they go in and buff something like a Foch B when there's a gazillion other tanks that are performing far worse and feel like they were left behind in 2015 balancing wise 🤣

How about: 1. Developing new (and BETTER) maps? 2. How about limiting gold? 3. How about a way of analysing how the hits affected your tanks? 4. How about improving matchmaking (skill-based?) 5. How about better cheat detection?

I work crazy hours in the oil field, my problem is time. I find it difficult to compete in clan wars and other special events especially if I want to get a special tank because I just don't have time to play after working 15-16 hour days. Where as I have money and getting tanks through boxes works really well for me. I can see that people that don't have deep pockets would get frustrated with loot boxes.

ASTRON Rex making "heaps of credits" is the biggest joke I've heard in a while. I really love this tank, but 190mm base pen and very limited amount of ammunition means that you're either playing full gold rounds or handicapping yourself

They've upped the abilities dropped in steel hunter and its actually really fun to play. More of a true arcade feel

I love the Astron Rex but the ammo capacity really ruins my enjoyment of it all too often. Having to fire gold ammo when you don't really need to because you ran out of regular ammo just sucks, or just loading full gold at the expense of any credit making ability. They really need to up the amount you can carry in it, it's a game and not a realism simulator. You shouldn't have to lose games simply because you ran out of ammo, or feel like you have to hold your fire because you can't take a risky shot.

I've been wanting the t54d since the preview came out on the discord and it being locked behind boxes sucks

T77 is one of those tanks that can be pretty monster if you go pay to win but is almost like playing a tier below if you aren't lol. Pay to win players have 300m pen consistent burst damage and overcome accuracy issues with OP equiptment, while free to play players get 700 dpm from 2/6 shots hitting like they are playing a t8 foch 155 and get exploded in their 40 second reload by friendly neighbourhood bz's.

Soon it will be like in World of Warships, with at least three different boxes being on sale simontaniously.

One thing to note - the chance of getting the better rewards seems extremely low. I went for a 50, and of the items with ranks (1 or 3 premium days, 50/100/250k credits, single or triple packs of boosters etc.), I got one 3 pack of boosters and one Personal Training manual. *Everything* else was the lowest rank available.

A very important question: I am in France and I read no premium tank guaranteed after 50 boxes for 40€ so we could pay for 50 boxes WITHOUT any premium, it’d be grave! 😮😮😮

The Jagdtiger looks great and a T-54 with the same gun as a Centurion would be cool, but I cannot keep up with all the gambling and loot crates. Sadly I have to miss out

i already had all the tanks in my garage so maybe thats why this happened. I bought the 50 box package, It gave me the t54 on my 48th box. that was the only tank it gave me at all. i thought id make a ton of gold off all the other tanks i have... it dosent work out like that anymore.

One question, what happens is that I already have 8k of bonuses, which if I get any of the tanks in the bonus store, it would be my third premium tank, which one do you recommend and why?

I think there is a bug in these boxes, I opened 10, got 8 single days of premium, and 2 single boosters, I thought the boxes had to have value equal to the purchase cost, so it wasn't technically gambling?

This is exactly what I've been looking for. What a thrill to purchase for myself dozens and dozens of newly released lootboxes that rely on pure luck and nothing else. Yes WG, please introduce to us more various lootboxes throughout the year so I can offer my hard earned cash for a chance to get the item I want.

Would love to have the t-54D but I refuse to gamble for tanks any longer. Especially when they're putting in reskinned premiums that I already have in my garage. I genuinely hope that countries around the world will start taking more action to regulate these sorts of predatory practices , it is disgusting.

These re-badged tanks like this Miel, new Astron rex, Forest spirit, Mars are such a fair approach- from WG.... If you already have them, who said that you need a second one? There should be an option to switch off that if you have the alternative in the garage, they should be taken out of the pool, or you should be asked to get the gold value instead at least.

Its the same type of buying fever one sees every December, plus buying spikes littered across the year close to busy holidays. The engine is War Gaming and we are the fuel. Our cave ancestors upon seeing a herd of mastodons saw meat to eat, skins for clothing, tusks for carving, bones for weapons and fat for torches. War gamers feel the same blood lust when something new and shiny with 155mm gun appears. MMMMM GOOD MMMMM MINE !!!!

I am pretty sure there is no 50 box guarantee* with this version of loot boxes. That is, you may open more that 50 boxes and still not get a premium tank - unlike the Holiday loot boxes. * At least I couldn't find it anywhere on the website.

I like my AMX Proto its a ridgeline beast. Granted next up is weekly loot boxes just to log in.

Well, I'm a tank collector. I really wants the new tanks if they are good enough. I would like the T-54D and I still don't have the JagdTiger ProtoType. But I can't keep up with all the boxes. I just can't afford it anymore 😢😢 In the same time while 'WarGrindingMyMoney' is collecting millinons on boxes, they set up a competition like Maneuvers which is not running the first 2 days. In my clan we were 2 teams constantly pressing 'refresh' to try to enter a game. The first hour we had 1 game!!! It's simply just too bad!

These reskinned tier 8s, are a pain, I have the Astron and the SU, but these count as new tanks, basically its a skin....

Well, suppose I'm the weirdo for liking the tier 8 frenchie It's fast, has some armour, good pen, the gun is a lil temperamental unless you aim well. Yes, you can put me in the psych ward;)

WARNING TO EVERYONE: These boxes are not advertised to have the Guaranteed after 50 boxes mechanic. Not every loot box event has this mechanic for some reason, SO PLEASE CHECK before you buy if it has this in play. If it doesn't have the mechanic, you are no guaranteed a tank and it is more of a scam.

If there were gold and scrap for experimetal equipment in the boxes as well I would buy a few. But now, meh, probably not.

Im just sad that amount of premium tanks that have come come to game in last couple of years is so large that they could have easily make at least 8 new lines out of them... And i'm also one to blame, as i have almost every single one of these tanks. Problem is that if WG would have just 1. Make new lines with these tanks. 2. Make new mission maratons like 260/E tank. 3 And make more and "better" clan things where you could get rewards, they would actually have more players still and most probably would not have to use these "milk every drop of money you can before we shut down" events... And all of these would be okay to me if WG would have just keep orginal idea that premium tanks are worse than tech tree ones, well we all know how well that went.
