Hello! I'm a military firefighter and a nurse here in Brazil. Interesting that the drugs already come in prepared vials. Here we need to break the ampoule and dilute as needed. Nice to know the reality of other countries. Congratulations for your work. Greetings from Brazil.

Your comment on my last video, really touched my heart! I have been going through a lot, like I said in the comments of the last video, but your prayers, and your support, brought me to tears! I'm honored! I'm just thankful that my hospital has the Stryker inTouch critical care beds, that do CLRT, and play classical music, Nature sounds, and jazz! I have quite a story behind those beds. I'm not sure if your ICu used those beds, or if you use the Hill-Rom TotalCare SPORT Beds, or the Progressa beds, but essentially, Stryker has a very special place in my heart ! Let's just say that! The last hospital stay wasn't the first time I was in one of those ICU beds, and if I have to be in the hospital, I am not staying at my regional hospital. They don't have those beds, and whilst they have equipment like the touchscreen Hill-Rom nurse call systems, and they have the Intellivue monitors, I'm still not going there. They don't have the inTouch beds! They have old Hill-Rom beds from the 80s, and 90s. They have a Stryker S3 bed, but it doesn't have the air mattress, and DEFINITELY doesn't have the music! I'm a composer, and a Pianist, so I love classical music, and nature sounds!

this is great. locally, ems agencies have started switching from D50W to D25W in their crash boxes for all ages of patients as they are less likely be painful or cause vein irritation. have you seen anything like this as a newer method of practice for glucose replacement? Part of me is also curious as I have had the ever so *sweet* (read: really painful) experience with d50w when i have had hypoglycemic seizures.

Very interesting analysis. Most commonly given is the D50 for the adult and D25 for the pediatric child. I will def look into some protocols and see if this is something that there either trialing or if it is a protocol being implemented. Thanks so much for bringing to my attention much appreciated!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍

It’s crazy the difference between pre hospital code procedures vs in hospital codes. I’ve only seen them use lidocaine after drilling an IO.
