My father died and left my mother to raise a 5 and 4 year old-she didn’t work. No one in my “family” stepped up. If I die before my kids are older, I hope people show her some sympathy.

@@mariodwir I worked full time with two kids in school. My mother was in assisted living and I also tended to her 3 nights a week. I would have paid someone to do it, I wouldn’t have let it get out of hand. My neighbor knew my situation and took it upon himself to bless me this way. His family was wonderful.

After my husband passed a huge tree fell in my yard. It stayed there for a week while I thought about who to call and the money. My neighbor from many doors down came and told me he just really wanted that wood and cut and took it. I know he didn’t need it. I think about that all of the time. The relief it was gone was just so huge.

It is amazing when somebody most my lawn and I live on a lot with people I have known almost my entire life because my father became disabled when I was 14 and unfortunately I have had an accident also but wouldn't be able to mow the lawn whether I hurt my back and hip or not because I just happened to be my severe asthmatic who's also allergic to grass and leaves and trees and things like that so even when I am on my oxygen in my house and have taken allergy medication- I frequently have a difficult time maintaining my oxygen saturation and with my back and spine problems just walking the entire lawn is very difficult and I can't imagine doing it with a lawn mower also especially because I have a retaining wall tell her then I am and I am 5 foot 10 so my backyard one side has a large Hill and one side has the two drastic height differences and then my front yard is of course similar in that one side is a giant Hill and the other side is flat so it is quite difficult for us! Just having degenerative conditions like degenerative disc disease and degenerative joint disease is difficult but to add spine issues and other medical things that make it very close to physically impossible- it's something you referred to as a simple thing, but when you have a hard time just walking in the yard- it isn't simple at all and that is why it is so meaningful and the opposite of simple. Although medically my father and I would both be considered disabled- neither of us like that label and we say that just like everyone else in the world we have challenges although ours may be different than other people- if we would help those with challenges different from our own I feel like we would have a significantly more kind and thoughtful Society and it would definitely be a more beautiful world to live in! So I have done things like adopted the widows and widowers on my block several of whom are almost 100! And I help them with things like using the internet and setting up apps and setting up rides and helping them make sure they're following up with medical care and getting there prescriptions squared away and the things that I can do on the phone because as we age many people lose their hearing so a bunch of phone calls becomes a big problem- and obviously the people that I help with those kinds of things are not going to be able to help mow my lawn, but I don't help them or invite them into my family and make sure that they have company and holiday meals and their birthday celebrated and their family informed of how their health is if their children don't live in state- and I called them my adopted grandparents since all my grandparents had passed away before I finished high school- that alone makes it mutually beneficial, but I don't do it for a benefit to me, I do it because I think it's the right thing to do and I want to live in a society where it's the norm rather than something that is celebrated!

Yes meant so much to her, more then just cutting the grass. The yard was in bad shape, that was no small job! I can only imagine how good it has felt each time she arrives home & see's how beautiful her yard looks! Who knows it may even give her incentive to get outside more, now she can enjoy her yard. She may put some chairs out there, sit outside in the morning drink coffee. Have dinner in the evening. Possibly plant some flowers & herbs in that nice little spot out front of her door.This could really improve her health and her mental well-being if it needed a shot in the arm. And all because a stranger offered to do a good deed!! Endless possibilities of how this could have a ripple effect in her life and maybe her neighbors or daughter or her granddaughter that was there. They may feel inspired to do something nice like that for someone else and it could just go on and on that is so awesome! Bless you dude! The best to you always and I'll pray for your nephew 💜✌️✝️

When I did lawn care for a company we did a yards for free the first time and give them a quote (we was the cheapest around so they normally went with us) there has a been a few times where someone was struggling (tall grass people anyhow) we'd take ourselves off the clock (just so our boss didn't loose money (other than gas) and mow that yard for them.

As I live in an apartment, I don't actually HAVE grass to cut. When I want to cut grass, I just buy some grass seeds , put them in a flower pot, and wait for them to grow! Then I manage to cut ALL of my grass myself! With scissors!

I moved to a new house from London to countryside.. a mortgage free brand new house .. but i loved my “ old lady “ who would be 100 in 2025..i was extremely emotional in those days Nov 2018 i used to give food to polish neighbours everyday for 3 yrs. i got pressure washer out after 3 yrs. as my house sits higher then his.. water went to his garden..he started swearing at my son who was washing it for me.. i couldn’t believe that some people have no gratitude.. they just believe in bullying manners & so use abusive words for children who have no dad any more

From new Zealand to and this mowing industry is looking like a good business to get into. Don't even need to get paid for it just upload videos on UKposts TikTok and Instagram and be blessed on their. But also a very good business to bless people and get to know others and even be blessed by others in the future.

It's kind of him, but he's making a lot of money on this one video. Why do you think he makes a video of it? At around 8 bucks on a thousand views, he has 4 million views, you do the math. Why else would he ride around looking an asking? Yes it's a nice thing for the people to get a free cut and clean up, but he needs them to keep making these videos. When i help people, I don't make a video, I don't even mention it to others, much less make a ton of money.
