It’s all even funnier when you remember that Emperor Penguins are the tallest and heaviest of all penguins, and impressively so, since there are records of them being anywhere between 3.9-4.9 feet tall (1.2-1.5 metres). This penguin was more likely able to meet the cameraman at eye level when he was sitting down, but he also could potentially be as tall as an average 12 year old. Thats how big they can get. Btw, they can live 20 years in the wild but some have been recorded to live upwards of 50. So this penguin has a good chance of still being around…waiting for his cameraman true love to return.
