I love this, because it gives off this kind of ‘chapter one final boss’ vibe. Alternates are always trying to hide themselves using/mimic things; television screens, mirrors, the haze of our shitty android phone speakers, hell, they’ll even pretend to be your loved ones in order to manipulate you, but in this obscure esoteric scenario, we get to see an Alternate out in the open while its’ prey (Mark) approaches, risking life and limb in a futile struggle to “defeat” a being far beyond all human comprehension, with the conflict between the two evidently resulting in violence. Mark’s fate is left unknown in this… strange interpretation of events, just ending with a red flash, followed via dialtone.

I love that the alternate actively dodges Mark's bullets. Real attention to detail!

I never noticed this before- BUT at the end of the song, [When N holds that down note before mark shoots] 1:57 It looks like N lowered his head down to the gun, either taunting mark or saying: ‘Shoot me mark, Show me what it’ll benefit you-‘ *BAM* Mark shoots N in the face. Plus, There’s only a red screen in the end of it all, plus, N is cut off when marks shoots at him. There is no: ‘UH OH, BAD DECISION MARK’ Maybe N died? Maybe nothing happened at all: [Since thatcher shot the alternate in the 3rd episode to no avail.] Maybe mark shot him self, but they didn’t have any animation for him shooting himself. This is just a theory… A MUSIC THEORY.
