Umm that’s dancing though, getting the timing right…if they spent a couple of hours on the game they will have it down pat with upper body movements….

@@bGzzzzz i think his point tho is that the movement requirement for dance machines is more mechanical , while dance is about timing it is as much about fluidity therefore certain dance moves have a minimum time needed to give action and shape to a dance and ur position in space doesn't have to be perfect there is a reason why in competitive DDR they minimize movement use heels/toes to tap pads and have all their weight towards the bar to ensure their legs can move fast most real world dance has way more movement than DDR type games allow if u want high scores at hard difficulties , in fact freestyle or players that actually dance on these machines with upper body movement tend to play on lower difficulties so that they can have actual momentum and upper body movement -> now im sure they could adapt if given time but the point is it makes sense their scores are low despite them being the actual dancers of the song

@@asimramay1069 I used to use DDR as a way to dance and move. I would never put DDR on higher settings because of the innability to feel the rythym. Dancing and Dance machines can convert under certain circumstance, but as far as REAL dancing it's not anywhere close. I wanted to watch this because I wanted to see trained dancers play this game. And the results were hilarious, and exactly what I thought would happen. I love the fact that they didn't just stop and stare, they were practicing right away. That's a professional lol. I completely understand what happened. As a dancer you'd have to completely rewire your brain to meet the movements of a Dance Machine. Dancing takes a bit of intuition and freedom, even if it is rehersed. There's a lot of work that goes into dancing, just like there's a lot of work that goes into learning Dance Machines. This was super interesting to me, futile, but interesting.
