For the fans that don’t understand why this press conference was a problem I’ll trying explain in this short summary This whole press conference was set in place for the purpose of replying to questions regarding their new album. Therefore questions raised need to correlate back to the workings of the album, how the album came to be, collaborations on the track, achievements and future plans are all valid points. The problem here can be seen in the difference of questions that were asked by the korean media vs international journalists. While the intl media asked questions. They were all relevant to their album & was centred around their craft, music army and breaking barriers in the music industry. Now going back to the Kmedia they kept asking useless ques. like this pl@g**sm issue, not having dating scandals and other problematic questions that weren’t appropriate for the setting and purpose of the event bts aren’t here to clear up past allegations or reply to questions about their private dating life this press conference wasnt set up for that. So instead of asking direct questions that are RELEAVNT TO THIS EVENT : They go asking questions that make no damn sense just to get bts to slip up and spill some sort of secret so that they can use it to write their click bait articles as always. That was the intent of many reporters there. If y’all watched the whole press con you can see The motive behind all of these question to get them to say something then twist their words to get them hate. While the intl reporters questions reflected their views & PRIORITY aimed to better understand bts’ as artists while the kmedia acted as if they were trying sell tabloids with their questions. Not to mention the passive aggressive attitude and their back handed complements that seemed as if they really can’t accept the fact that bts are truly kind unproblematic ppl. Asking unconventional question here and there so that they can get their “guard down” Bts were still able to respectfully answer all their questions once again proving that kmedia don’t got shit on them. Not just in music but how they manage their way through life, their viewpoints about life and how they shift something that could possibly be bad into positive.
