Coming from aviation videos where they talk about unbelievable safety and mitigation of any risk to this is such a stark contrast. The only hangup I have is I hope these passenger's fully understand the risks of one of these going 10% worse and ending up in the wall at those speeds.

Let’s be honest, every time I go the the Nurburgring there is people in shitboxes for a nice joyride, seen some guy lose a wheel before. And a lot of people don’t prepare for the Nurburgring.

I have a 1991 Lancer GTI 16v, and while the stock brakes ARE pretty damned good, I would most definetly take a good look at them and make sure the lines are PERFECT and they dont fade AT ALL even under track conditions. So far I only have managed to make them hot, to the point where the rim burns my hand a tiny bit, but never faded on me. Still, I rather take it easy just in case. Downhill touges in general are very scary. If I were to ever go to the nurb, id get better pads, make sure they get all the cooling I can, and lighten the car as much as possible. Without spare and half a tank its only 1020kg, but some panels are starting to show rust spots after I painted it whole, so I could use an aluminum or even glass fiber hood for example. Definetly better rims and tires, 14 inchers dont give me much choice

@@BasedMan them stock brakes may be good for the road, but even with new pads, those brakes wouldnt last 10 mins. thats if you thrash it around corners.

No, the plaid was fastest through here with him, second fastest was the Ferrari sf90 - 296 km/h, but I think Misha was a bit afraid to push it to the max in his first drive ever as it’s quite expensive:)
