Really cool stuff. Adding LED's was pretty clever, especially where you can plug into them. I'm not so sure I'd want to seal those LED's in. It would be just your luck to go through all of that, only to have cheap electronics fail shortly after creating those masterpieces. None the less... excellent craftsmanship. Nice job.

I use my epoxy off cuts and lathe over spill to make off cut bowls its a perfect mix to cut down on waste

I almost fell asleep because it was so relaxing, but had to watch because each project was so beautiful and made with everyday things. Wow. 👍

Love the concept of the first one! He could look to save on both resin and steel wool by next time adding a cylander in the center of that rounded container he poured it in & glued it down. Then sparying the whole inside vessel with mole release. This helps, instead of pouring a full chunk of resin. Also saves time for the carving/shaving on the layth.

That bamboo polka-dot lamp was cool and I loved the skewer Stalactites-Stalagmites lamp; but I would LOVE to try that Stained Glass effect lamp. I can think of so many possibilities with this method! The lamp was beautiful; but he could have stopped with the panel and just framed it and put it on a nice chain and hung it in a window!

I usually am pretty accurate when first reading the captions on these creative ideas before watching as to what the hype is about and what level it is HOWEVER, I wasn’t ready at all on these incredible art pieces and my expectations were immensely elevated. Just amazing

That "polka dot" bamboo stick lamp is AWESOME! I wish I had one!

I've never felt the need for eye protection just to watch a video, but this one changed all that.

When using bamboo with resin if you want the light to shine through so you see the colour of the resin you first have to drill the bamboo layers to allow for that so you don’t see black circles like in the lamp

what do they do with all the scraps? piles and piles of plastic but idk where it goes? do they melt it and make something from them??? also with a different mold he may have been able to skip hours of work hollowing out the piece, and used less epoxy to make it.

Have you ever considered saving the shavings from past projects to cast in resin for a confetti look?

I respect the effort, I respect the process, I respect the craft. Looks hideous.But that's art. If someone sees it and likes it, it's a successful piece.

Maybe more creations from waste or discarded items might be the way to go 🤔

The best part of watching someone turn a project .... For me, it's gotta be when the resin starts coming off like long strands of spaghetti!! Given that I'm a little bit more than half Italian & was brought up around my Italian aunts, uncles & cousins who pretty much cooked something that looked like spaghetti, sometimes dishes that I'd not even heard of at the time, but have since become firm favourites. I remember seeing something that was green once, safe to say, it was delicious with marrowfat peas giving it that nuclear toxic waste colour, but I assure you, it was yum!! Anyway, getting off track, 14:52, you are now covered in either Angel Hair spaghetti, which is really fine strands, but tastes out of this world, or, kinda like linguine, that or it's a very long shavings of mozzarella, super stringy & YUM YUM YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!! Thanks for indulging me ... Take me back to the happier days of my life!! P.S. .. Your projects are also out of this world. My house would be filled your art if only I had enough money to feed the gas, electric & my odd taste in art 😓😓

The second to last lampshade, with all the different colours in the holes. I reckon if you spray painted the cardboard gold beforehand, it would give the impression of metal.

I felt there is too much waste in these designs and ideas..why not use a mold with a hole in the first few designs

Is it only me that get confused with the fact he uses the vacuum chamber BEFORE pour the epoxy??? I love to watch this kind of video and I never saw someone do the vacuum chamber before pouring. Btw.. Congrats... all pieces in this video are AWESOME!

On project #1 he spent about $100 in epoxy and probably 12hrs on the lathe just to make a jar...lol

I think I would have used a silver tint to the resin. As a Chef, when I see stainless scrubs in "liquid", if it's that yellow color, it's nasty grease. Silver would have looked cleaner.

I would like to suggest two colorschemes for a couple future projects. One in blue and green. And then one in purple and orange. A lighter purple.

Love your work, have one small suggestion for builds like the stained glass style one as I love that and wish i had my workshop in a usable state to make one like yours, but my suggestion is to place a layer of diffuser light film on the inside surfaces, this will make the light be much more even from top to bottom and prevent wash out of the middle sections even the ones that are full color like the purple that just get washed out totally. But just an idea, I think for myself i will use addressable RGB strips that will run down each corner, so i would have layers on the inside of, (Diffuser sheet, X1, RGB addressable top to bottom, then another 1 or 2 layers of Diffuser film to keep the light even across the whole lamp.
