This fight is such a credit to the sport. The skill displayed by Spence...the heart displayed by Peterson. The respect from the corner for fighter's well being. The sportsmanship, respect and honor shown after the fight. This was great to watch🔥🔥🔥

@@mrbarry2091 He did the right thing (CTE ain't no joke), but using the term "heart" to describe his performance is just incorrect and a useless platitude. I've never seen any Rocky movies. But, I have seen guys refuse to throw in the towel or other who lose the entire fight and come back in the end. You can't credit the guy who says, 'no mas' on the stool as having heart. Or, else the term loses it's value.

PS. case in point. Hearns v Leonard 2. Leonard gets beaten, dropped multiple times, but his heart pulls him through and gets him a lucky draw. THAT is heart. This was just a guy who realised he had no way of beating a better boxer and he QUIT on the stool. Fair play, but not a display of heart.

Spence defense is underrated also. he slips, and catches while walking you down. he cuts off the ring and uses the long jab so the opponent has no choice but to swing. thats when he catch them to the body and forces them to bawl up. then its game time

This is by far my favorite fight to watch & probably Errol’s best performance. Peterson was a tough veteran with a lot of experience. Errol separated himself from the pack with this performance 👌🏽

Peterson was dangerous around this time & he would have beaten a lot of Welterweights. I say this is a great performance by Errol Spence 👍🏽

I was just watching this and I said the same thing to myself. This is not the same Errol after the car accident. I think it did more to him then even he realized. Sad to see that happen. I give all the credit to Crawford but for he people saying the car accident didn't take a toll on him are not being honest in my opinion. That car accident was probably like fighting another 15 to 20 fights alone.

Errol Spence will go down as the best 147lb fighter ever. His ability to use his defense while also pressuring his opponent is unseen. He punches the entire fight also! His defense is underrated. people think of defense as just running, you dont see people block and catch punches better then Errol. his skill, strength, and pressure break down his opponent over time. he dont have one punch knock out power like a tank.. but he does have skills and enough power to have his opponents not wanting to fight back.... all they can do is bawl up and try to defend while he use them as punching bags

The thing is… nobody can. And bud smart enough to know this. He’s a good counter puncher so as long as he keeps moving and counters well, he can win. But I feel this is the only way he can win. Spence footwork and ring iq is just as good and more dangerous due to his style. Best way to beat Spence is the money mayweather way bc any other way you’re playing with extremely hot fire
