I was in high school when she first came out in the mid 90's and knowone really knew what to make if her. I knew she was going to be a monster because my parents (who were born in the 40's) thought her music was a throwback and incredibly refreshingly. On and on was just too funky back in the day. I don't think we really understood we were witness to true greatness back then as we do now.

This Friday I finally get to do it, and I'm more than happy to do a 3 hour drive just to get there. She's one of the few artists who still makes me feel the same enthusiasm for music as I did as a teenager. So damned excited!!!
