She’s definitely learning but you can still tell she didn’t learn to talk and didn’t learn social skills as she grew up like most of us. She’s doing a great job though. I wonder if she’ll ever be able to really trust anyone after this. Her own parents did this. The very people you’re supposed to be able to trust and completely depend on. The fact that Jordan, a teenage girl who had almost no knowledge of the outside world and was deeply terrified of her parents finding her or the police turning her away, she actually tried to prepare herself in order to save her siblings by collecting the envelope, recording the abuse, and explaining everything to police. I fully sympathize with and understand Jordan as a violent father in North Korea and as a person who risked his life to South Korea to find freedom and escape dictatorship and tyranny. My father was a Navy officer who often beat four brothers and my mother, including me. When I was young, I was forced to perform in the card section of the system propaganda, and if we made a mistake during practice, we were chained like Jordan and beaten severely by soldiers. I live in Siheung, South Korea (near Seoul), and here in South Korea, it is heaven. I even feel guilty because I feel like I'm living too rich in South Korea. Like Jordan, I secretly watched South Korean videos in North Korea and opened my eyes to the outside world, and that's when I decided to defect. When I was watching the drama, I saw South Korea so nice that I thought, "Why am I living here like this?" Unfortunately, however, I still left my two brothers in the north, and my mother was shot dead by Chinese soldiers while crossing the Yalu River. Please don't let Jordan's brothers suffer from the sadness of family dissolution like me. Like Jordan, when I walked on the streets of Seoul for the first time in South Korea, I felt that this was heaven. I hope that the deification and brainwashing of Kim Il-sung will be lifted and that freedom will be settled in North Korea. North Korea is the California horror house and is expanded to the national level. There could be mistranslation, so I will write down it with Korean at the bottom. Thank you for reading. 🇰🇷 🇰🇵

@sholalove6478 Thanks so much for sending prayers. Why I'm feeling guilty is that my little sister was captured by police in China and sent to North Korea again. Maybe she was taken to a political prison camp (as horrible as Auschwitz) or shot. My siblings can't enjoy a happy life like me. And so many people are still suffering from starvation and tyranny. These things became big traumas (When I was a student, I saw public execution, a person being shot in the head and shot by soldiers. They fired 100 bullets, and the solid finally became liquid. Because they watched South Korean videos.) But, I think I'm living a pretty good new life here, and I hope that Jordan could live her new life in a brilliant way, too. To ease the guilt, I send some of my earnings to North Korea(If I deposit to the Chinese or Russian bank, the broker remit money to North Korea). And South Koreans sometimes praise myself for being sincere. Seoul has a lot of lights and rights!! Have a nice day.

Lord Jesus Christ is coming back everyone, please don’t worship celebrities and entertainment, focus on Him alone. I promise there’s more to life than money, partying, homosexuality and music. Hell is real, repent from sinning confess your sins and ask God to forgive you, I know He will if you’re sincere. Anyone who thinks the Name of Lord Jesus Christ is a joke, boldly mocks and scorns Him or takes pleasure in people who do is in for a big unpleasant surprise on judgement day IF they don’t repent and follow Lord Jesus Christ. Hell is very hot, people please repent! In the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen 🙏💪✝️💜❤️✝️! Idolatry such as, Islam, Catholicism, Sangomaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Santa Clausism, Confucianism, New Age, Science, Evolution, halloweenism, Harry Potterism, Politics, Donald Trumpism, Easter Bunnyism and other religions/faiths that are outside Biblical Christianity lead to hell! Don’t believe them, believe the Almighty God the Father of Lord Jesus Christ, who begot Him. Our Creator, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is mighty, He doesn’t need a woman to beget a son, He is God. I choose to put my faith in a God who can do anything and everything, a God who has unlimited and infinite power to beget! So, it’s time to confess that Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord and to believe that He died and rose from the grave after three days and you shall be saved if you only obey Him by praying, worshipping, praising, reading the Bible and living holy and righteously according to the Bible. You have to endure until the end, carry your cross daily and build your relationship with God by following Lord Jesus daily until the end. You must never renounce your faith in The Lord Jesus Christ, there’s hell awaiting those who reject/deny Lord Jesus Christ and those who continue living sinfully, even the Christians who don’t want to repent will face the same fate, so please repent beloved people, in Lord Jesus Christ’s mighty and precious Name, Amen.

@@practicalcucumber1395 you’re right. It’s not hard, if you have basic knowledge of how the world works, but these kids have never spoken to anyone outside of their family. If she would not have seen the show, she wouldn’t know how to call the cops, at all. This is not your ordinary 20/33 year-old with basic communication skills. They have no life or survival skills bc their parents kept them in the house at all times and only the older kids were allowed phones with basic features, so the parents could call them while they were out drinking and partying. @@oscar1081 they certainly are in most cases much more brave than adults because they still lack the thought of consequence of their actions, which btw is a part of everyones development that has to be learnt and comes after about 2,5 years of age. Only then you can really start to teach logical consequences to them. But then bravery can be shown in different ways, in which adults will probably take the upper hand. I learned this in my studies and it's very interesting! The development of a human being may it be the physical or psychological, makes one understand humans and yourself much easier!

In a normal adolescent, 17 would not be pre-pubescent, puberty typically starts around 12-14 in females and around 13 in males. However, this girl would not have reached puberty at that age, and would have had severely delayed pubescence. Because of the malnutrition she endured, her body would put off puberty until it was able to sustain it. Therefore, she hadn't yet reached puberty when she escaped and was "pre-pubescent" (pre-puberty). That's why she sounded like a little girl instead of a normal 17 year old female.
