@@wildestcowboy2668 imo i don't think we will beat Bama, i think we still lack depth on our defense to consistently compete with the best (especially in our secondary) which is why i'd be perfectly happy with a loss as long as we can keep it close next week, i feel like that will be very good progress but let's be real we are still a few years away from a Natty i just hope our fans don't set too high of expectations then end up getting let down and turning on Huepel after we fail to meet those said expectations.

To win in this league is hard. We still aren't loaded on defense and we are ranked 6th in stopping the run. Our team was depleted because of Pruitt. Vol offense is way more fun than Bill Obrien's offense. After what we've seen in past years, it's a blast to watch. You say you can beat us and we ain't nothing? Ok. You're about to get your chance.

The defense is definitely our weak link but at least we're getting consistent pressure on the qb. I thought 9-3 at the beginning of the season and I still believe that. But 10-2 isn't sounding terribly crazy anymore. This was a huge win and statement but we're still not at the level of Georgia or Bama. But the future looks bright for the first time in a long time.

If yall beat Bama the highest yall will jump is #4 or #5,Bama would go no lower than #3. Bama will always get benefit of the doubt. A Bama loss=just a hiccup but a Tennessee loss=not ready to compete for the trophy (in the eyes of the committee). Some will get what im saying while some wont.

Aside from QB and WR, our talent level isn't super spectacular. It's just being developed and used to it's full potential.
