It's under a little spring tension but it's not gonna open the door by any means. Add a hydraulic arm to get that auto open. Plenty on Amazon to fit ur needs

You can jam a pen up in the hole and jimmy it open with that it’s a super dumb hack but works every time

It won close anymore, it'll stays opened. I bought one a year ago and that's what happened when I forgot to charge it.

I need some help, mine is making some sound like jingle bell song, when i put the tag near it but it doesnt want to open.

@@Caseys_Yaris_that_could, I had something really funny happen, the black lockbox made some ticking sound, then I waited one more day. The following day, it didn't make any more sounds, so I thought the battery died, then I took the RFID tag and scanned, it didn't work, nothing happened, I pull open the door, it didn't work, then I was about to give up, and I said " I give up, will you please open, do I need to say a magic word? like open sesame? ", and then took the RFID tag and scan on the door, and it made the unlock sound and I pulled the door and it opened. My mom and I were shocked, as we tried to open the lock for so many days. I checked on the battery connections, there were some blueish marks on it, seems like the battery leaked out.

Ahh well for mine it’s in a separate access cabinet so I was able to open it from the drawer next to it so it probably wouldn’t work for ya my bad
