I’m guessing you’re very young! Only 14 songs from before 2000, six because Monaco and Luxembourg don’t take part anymore, and others are true classics (Hold Me Now, Waterloo, Love Shine a Light, etc.). Not criticizing, just to mention that Eurovision before this crazy era had some real gems.

I like the video, but as Italian, I find it difficult to agree with the list for Italy. I mean, I like Diodato, but in 1958 Italy participated with "Nel blu, dipinto di blu". I mean I think that, although is old, deserve a top 3. It is the first song ever to win a Grammy Award for song of the year and record of the years. Also, it is the only non-English song that had done that. it is also the only Eurovision song to win a Grammy. :D

I made some mistakes in this video: * In Israel’s entries, it’s supposed to be 3, 2, 1 just like the other entries. * And Monaco’s 3rd place has the wrong name, it’s supposed to be “Séverine - Un Banc, Un Arbre, Une Rue. 1st place in the Grand final 1971”. * Also the year for Georgia’s “Keep the faith” is supposed to be 2017, not 2011. Sorry for that 😄❤️

I LOVE it how you put Dadi twice for Iceland! It makes me so happy to watch their perfomances. I also like the contrast between Iceland 2019 and Iceland 2020-2021, I just tought it was so funny to send a heavy rock (idk how to describe it lol) song the one year and the other year such a funny, silly group. Love it

As an Austrian it's always nice to see some appreciation for The Makemakes. It has been 6 years and I'm still salty about the result.

There's a mistake for Monaco. At 15:24, you put the wrong artist & song as 3rd place for Monaco. In 1971 it wasn't Lisa Darly with Tout de Moi, but Séverine, a French singer, with "Un banc, un arbre, une rue". Séverine won that year, making Monaco the only microstate to have ever come first in Eurovision. Her song also holds the records for most maximum points awarded to a song (6) during this era of the competition. So many countries were robbed because of 2020’s contest being cancelled. I’m glad countries like Finland and Italy had the song changes but I feel sorry for countries like Iceland who had amazing 2020 entries

Interesting selection. You didn’t really go past the 90s except for a couple of examples like Luxembourg , who havent been in the contest in a long time. I think it’s odd you included songs that were never presented in the cancelled contest in 2020. There were amazing songs but a lot of them were not performed live so we don’t really know how good they would have been. Also odd that you didn’t feature either of Bulgarias top songs. Anyway thanks for sharing this video- it was interesting and I enjoyed it
