This year,I entirely disowned my toxic family. I decided to continue my journey without them after realizing they were the reason I live with such a negative mindset. It's been hard,especially because my 1 year old daughter is involved and can't see her cousins because of it. I have listened to this song to remind myself of the damage they spent 34 years doing. It's helped me cope . I know thats notbthe meaning of this song,but my situation is how i interpreted it originally-dealing with shitty people and being mentally broken from it. I love evans blue because their music has been a comfort to me since I first hear "Cold(but I'm still here)" in 2006 when the first boy(or man,whatever, we were both 18) that I loved rejected me. It helped me get through those lonely nights.
