I had never seen anybody simply overtake the opponents like that, he was just gliding through half of the pitch and scored cleverly. Watching this after Bales masterclass against Austria, he’s still very much world class and his stats show it, Jose barely played the guy and he had nearly 25 goal contributions. Even if we don't necessarily need him as much as Eriksen, his contribution will still be significant, as he was statistically the best per-90-minute player in the PL for that season. Don't forget about hist signature feints, Trivelas, & finesse that Bale would effortlessly bring.

There is no other player in the world that hits the ball better than GB. His technique is world class - a natural baller. Imagine if we had a proper manager during that time who played GB every week. He only needed minutes to build up his sharpness yet on many occasions he was stuck on the bench. Clueless Muereen and Mason both utter useless and can't realise world class when it's staring them in the face. GB GOAT.
