Riding candymodium at night is insane. Literally can’t see the track and the airtime hills catch you off-guard. Great way to close the night in the park

When I went to Hershey Park in May 2022, the CandyModium was the only rollercoaster I went on, it was insane, the airtime hills, the sudden drops and fast rises is what got me off guard, best ride ever. Even though it was scary, I will go on it next time I come back

Trailblazer was my first roller coaster (from Hanover, PA). and I remember being really apprehensive cause I didn't think I would like roller coasters, and once we started moving, my dad kept saying how big the drop was going to be trying to freak me out, only for it to be a tame, smooth roller coaster. And after that, I went on to ride every roller coaster in the park every time I've gone back.

Went first time in ‘79. All they had was Comet, Looper and Trailblazer. It was one of the most magical experiences of my youth.

We went to Hersheypark about three years ago and the Wild Mouse is very deceiving. As we walked by it, it didn’t look like much, but once you get on and you take those turns, I was holding on for dear life thinking we’re heading right off the tracks. The photo they take captured my wife’s reaction which was absolutely hysterical and a must by pic. Love Hershey Park and can’t wait to go back again some day.

Trailblazer was the first tubular steel coaster I ever rode. The wood coaster at GwynnOak Park in Baltimore was my first coaster.

This was my childhood amusement park, having grown up in Mechanicsburg. I have fond memories of going back through the line to ride the Sooperdooperlooper over and over again. There were no trees around it back then, and now the trees are taller than the roller coaster!

This is my home park. I grew up about five miles away from Hershey. As long as I can remember, my family went to Hersheypark. At that time Comet was the only roller coaster and so was my first. The Looper was the first looping coaster on the East coast. I was even a ride operator one summer! Big news: Wildcat is shutting down for good end of July 2022. Rumor has it that it will be getting the RMC treatment!! Look for it opening maybe next summer! Thank you for the videos!

Candymonium is just so relaxing, the hill doesn’t seem as high as it is and it’s just incredibly smooth I was about to fall asleep when I rode it! 😂

Comet was my first ever roller coaster! It shook me up so bad I didn’t ride another for five years. Looking back, I’m sure I’d love it now! I need to revisit Hersheypark now that I’ve conquered my fear of roller coasters at King’s Island. Great video!!

trailblazer will always be my favorite rollercoaster, its a good break from all the crazy rollercoasters and a pretty fun ride, i wish it was longer

Candymonium is my very first coaster. It was crazy. I also went on wildmouse and lafftrack, lafftrack was probably my fav ride in the whole park because it’s really fun and so much things to look at. I hate how long the line is though.

candymonium is so fun! absolutely insane! the 2nd drop is higher than skyrushes first drop. so amazing.

Wild Mouse proves you don't have to build a 300ft B&M hyper to have a great ride experience. It's small, simple, but the speed and laterals along with some genuinely great ejector make for a friggin awesome time, even if it's short. Don't make the mistake of skipping the smaller rides, guys!

14:41 - can personally attest that this subtle little bump in the Wildcat is so incredibly jarring and really gives you that flying-off-the-tracks feeling for a moment

That first drop on Great Bear reminds me of Nemesis with the way it curves off and dives down

The Comet was my first roller coaster. It was at Crystal Beach on Lake Erie in Ontario. It's so cool to see it again!

Grew up in central PA but my dad had a work picnic every summer at Hershey so we got to tag along, indeed Trailblazer was my first coaster because I was terrified of them and he wanted to encourage me to ride the others. Immediately after we did the SuperDooperLooper, which pulled my head to the floor in the loop 🤣 thankfully I was still hooked and now look forward to one day going back to experience the Comet, which to me is an example of "perfect, no notes" as a classic wooden coaster.

Comet was my first "adult" roller coaster. I've been hooked on coasters ever since :).

I went there in 2013 and I saw the hershey chocolate factory there. I love how the height requirements use different Hershey style candy. If I can remember correctly, it's hershey miniature for 36 inches, hershey's kisses for 42 inches, Hershey Bar for 48 inches, Twizzlers for 54 inches, and Jolly Ranchers for 60 inches.

It’s cool because wildcat has RMC right now and opens in a week! Also, sidewidener is now jolly rancher remix and is a lot better themed. Love Hershey ;)

I never rode Wildcat in its original form, but locals told me it was stupid rough! I rode it after the RMC treatment and it was glass smooth!

Trailblazer was one of my first rollercoasters. I used to be TERRIFIED of coasters, but now I am in love.

I went on skyrush and BOY is it exhilarating! It was my first ever "big coaster". It was so fast, I felt myself lifting out of my seat a little on the drop!

Storm Runner has to be my FAVORITE ride in this park, and among my favorite rides like EVER! I honestly wish I could say I even mildly like Sky Rush...but those restraints are just the worst thing Intamin could have ever imagined. I am honestly jealous of people who don't find them painful...I have tried just about everything I can think of to keep the restraint from crushing my legs, but that first drop ALWAYS pushes it down so damn far that my legs' circulation not only feels cut off, but the air time is actually so painful because the restraints feel like they're actually going to cut your legs off. I know they supposedly changed the restraints after the first year, but I have noticed NO difference! Wahh

Lightning racer is such an under-rated coaster! I love lightning racer and it was one of my first coasters that I rode! Hoping it will stick around for many many many years to come!

I've been going to Hershey ever since I was little in Cub Scouts. I remember when StormRunner opened. And I was afraid of coasters that went inverted. Until my Sister took me on the Great Bear, years later, and absolutely LOVED it. Ever since then I LOVE inverted & coasters that go upside down. . But one of my all time favorites at Hershey is Lightning Racers, I went on that ride countless times. Also Trailblazer was a favorite as a kid I've went on that and lightning racers move times than I can count, Trailblazer was one of the first coasters i've ridden. On wildcat I almost flew out of the seat as a kid and it scared me. I hear they are taking it down soon though, sad to see it go but i'm sure they will put something in it's place in the offseason. . I haven't been to Hershey in years though. I really want to go back. . And at Dorney Park I really like the Hydra or the Talon. Grew up in South Jersey and Six Flags wasn't really a favorite of mine. I've always preferred Hershey and Dorney. Both Great parks. Just watching the Wild Mouse gave me whiplash lol. I love the amount of fun you sound like you're having.

Philly native here, I went to Hershey Park for the first time in the late 90s for my eighth birthday and it was my first amusement park ever. I remember staying at the Hershey hotel and meeting the Reese's cup mascot at breakfast, and going on the Comet with my dad, the first coaster I ever went on and for many years I was too afraid to go on the upside down ones. Finally in 8th grade my school took a graduation trip to the park and my best friend convinced me to go on Great Bear, which is now my favorite. Last year I returned to the park for the first time in a while to take my stepdaughter for a visit.

Cedar Point is my home park and I just discovered my love of coasters this year! I've always wanted to visit Hershey Park for the theming alone, but now I have more reasons to go! Someday I hope to visit!

I just tried the Great Bear Ride, it was AMAZING, I faced my fear! Be careful if your wearing a hat or glasses though, they can come off. My glasses came off and I caught them just in time. Overall review, 8.5/10. Would try again!

Great bear was my first ever steel coaster. Before that it was the Phoenix at Knoebels

One of my favorite Hershey park memories was on the Trail Blazer. It was in the 80's and the park was closing soon so my parents told us to pick our last ride to go on and we all said trail Blazer. We got there and to our surprise no line we all got in our seat and off we went. When we pulled back into the station still no line so my dad yells one more time and they sent us straight threw! No lie we rode 4 times straight back to back never exiting our seats it was awesome and I have never forgotten that day. The best part is ticket price back then was like 10$ for adults and 8$ for kids.

The last time I've been to Hershypark, there was no Candymodium, Skyrush, Laff Trakk, or Cocoa Cruiser. And I live in Pennsylvania. Plus, the park was a family tradition when I was little. When I started loving roller coasters, I couldn't get enough of Great Bear, Trailblazer, Storm Runner, and my upmost favorite, Lightning Racer. I hope someday to go back.

Comet was the one coaster I rode once with my dad and my brother while on vacation as a little girl and years later as a thirty something several years after his passing, especially while on vacation in PA.

That was fun! Loved Hershey Park for years! The comet was great. The sidewinder was my last roller coaster ride. I spent the following 2 hours in the medic outpost getting my balance back, lol 😂.

I went to HersheyPark yesterday! Candymonium was my first ride! I did it like 200 times! I did all the others as well! It was AWESOME! loved this place. I would definitely recommend it the only problem is the Lines. If you get a fast pass it’s not that bad. I believe the one that lets you go on it once and if you want to go on it again you have to wait in a long line I believe that’s like $150 if you want to do it as many times as you want it is about $210. So for two people it would be about $420

I loved watching this! I grew up going to hershey every single year bc it’s only an hour from my house. I love this amusement park, definitely one of the best parks in the states ❤️ just went a month ago, def going back for Halloween 😍

I am 78 and I grew up in Hershey Park, as did my Dad. We always had a Sunday picnic once a month at Hershey. I learned to ice skate at the sports arena where the Hershey Bears played hockey and Thanksgiving football between John Harris High School and William Penn was always held at the Hershey Stadium. The Comet was the only coaster there at the time. I loved the old park and I now live in South America, but in my mind I can still walk through the old park and every ride. What happened to the Cuddle Up?. When I am back in Harrisburg, I always spend the day at Chocolate World. My Grandparents moved to Harrisburg in 1903 and started visiting Hershey when it opened in 1906, when my Father was 3 years old. I think the merry go round and the Comet are two of the original rides.

My rite of passage was the texas cyclone at six flags astro world. Not a bad first roller coaster either if I do say so myself.

Every ride is great. It's a great all around park, that has been great consistently throughout the time it's been operational.

Went to Hershey park yesterday and a huge storm hit as I was in line for great bear. Since I had dinner reservations we had to head towards to exit but the weather started to clear so I was able to get a quick candymonuim ride before I left and all I’ll say was riding that ride was very worth it.

This was the park where I rode many of my first rides so much nostalgia
