An important thing worth mentioning that you missed with the Canes: they were down 2 star players and a couple others at the start of the playoffs last year and continued to suffer injuries through the rest of the playoffs with even Fast getting injured in the last game against Florida. With a (mostly) healthy roster right now (excluding the aforementioned defenseman) they look in way better shape to make an even better run this time around.

After your vids all season I have never been so excited going into a playoffs. Stars fan to heart but Nucks fan since young. What a season and as a Texan who grew up in the south I have learned more about hockey and see a new world of what happens on the ice because of this channel. I have never had a chance to ice skate. Always something I see in movies or last decade on youtube. Words can describe how great you have been from the start of your channel. hockey is the best pro sport on the planet. other leagues/sports may have more fans and generate more money, but the nhl consistently has the most entertaining games as a viewer. the playoffs just take it up to another level. i can't frickin' wait lol

Dallas(I'm biased,yes) but after 2020 in the Cup final, 2023 in the conference final, they have finally put the pieces together that work. This team really reminds me of the team in the late 90's.

Stars get my vote as favorite. Reaching the finals a few years ago is a big plus with alot of the same players. Usually teams get a close call with a cup before maturing and actually winning one. Panthers would be my 2nd pick.

It's a shame that Panthers coach Maurice decided to binge on crack right before the final regular season game and give the Cats a matchup against the Lightning for no reason in round 1.

You know the odds are long when the Leafs best shot is either the Bruins underestimating them and losing the series themselves, or the Leafs act like a completely different team. That said really looking forward to this year. I think the cup has a better chance of returning to Canada than it has in a long time. Winnipeg and the Canucks both look 99% of the way there and just need that extra something something for playoff success. If they either finds it, they're a top contender.

From my perspective, I just wish LA would have consistency and play to the level that they are capable of. They can be great and any team can win on any given night, but it feels like LA plays to the level of their opponent. They should've been stomping teams in the lower end of the standings but barely squeak by with an OT win in the last game of the season against the second-to-last place Blackhawks. They get caught by their rival Ducks towards the end of the season in a 3-1 loss, but can beat Vancouver 6-3 in the game before it. It's baffling to me as a Kings fan that every game feels like we've already lost until we don't. Trying to keep some faith, but that Oiler kryptonite is very real and it'll feel like we won the Cup of we make it out of the first round. *laughs to hide tears*

Absolutely love your breakdowns and how you see things! That said i think you didn’t see how much depth the oilers gained this year. Its not only relied on offense, they got key defensive this year that generates offensive and 3rd 4th liners that can grind. Goaltending is shaky though.

This playoffs is going to be brutal. Stars-Knights revenge series? I’m in. Classic Bruins-Leafs series? Double in. A lot of people hate the Leafs but I think it would be really cool to see them slay their demon and beat the Bruins in what will almost certainly be a 7 game series, won’t be easy though, feels like the Bruins will have a bit of a chip on their shoulder after what happened last year.

Love the way you broke down the strategy of each team. Really showed what makes each team unique.

I've got a Vancouver Florida final with Vancouver taking the win but all the teams are so good this year it's too close to make any predictions with certainty

We have a great field of playoff teams this season and no clear favorite. The first round is going to be hockey worth watching and it only gets better from there. As a Stars fan, I just hope my team and its fans can carry themselves with some dignity this time around. Not like last year.

My team ia not in the playoffs (Seattle) and I get to enjoy watching this all shake out. Honestly, this is as wide open as I've seen the playoffs be in some time. Expect a lot of the unexpected to happen.

All I know is when a team has an amazing record breaking or franchise best season (1986 Oilers, ‘96 Red Wings, ‘19 Tampa Bay, and last years Bruins), and fail to go deep in the playoffs, they end up winning it the next two years. So go Bruins.🎉

If Colorado had better goaltending and a more organized defense, they'd be the odds on favorite. Unfortunately, the "we'll just out score them" game plan is not going to work against the elite goalies they're destined to face. Hughes etc. I’m curious if you think the future for Luke Hughes, and the devils includes that, do you believe that Luke Hughes is that future defenseman for the devils that can drive a team the way that Josi and Quinn have for their teams.
