We have been asked by a few people to sin this little indie film from the summer called Avengers: Endgame. And we had nothing else going on today, so we decided to cave to fan request for once. This movie was a crowd pleaser and currently stands as the highest grossing movie of all time. But it has plenty of sins, so buckle up, kids, let's go for a ride.
Next week: I don't remember. Some sins. Two videos. Something something.
Remember, no movie is without sin! Which movie's sins should we expose next?!

This is a point of hypocrisy by Avengers critics. They want to know where non super heroes are during the fights. But Hawkeye, Nat, Falcon, Coulson, Hill, Fury, the Dora Milage, don’t have conventionally defined Super Powers. This is one of the reasons why the Avengers work - and the Justice League didn’t. it’s also why Whedon and Snyder have to add pointless scenes of civilian armies fighting aliens in Man of Steel or civilian family running around trying not to die in Justice League. The point is - the Avengers are defining Super Heroes in terms of character (courage and sacrifice) - and *not* only powers. So when CinemaSins implies that heroes without super powers can’t be amazing - then sin on them.

So.... The fact that Steve and Tony had a character arc from when they met that came full circle in this movie made me happy. Tone made the sacrifice, and Steve showed he was more than the super serum by lifting Mjolnir. That is damn good writing.
@summertyme5748
@summertyme5748 5 місяців тому
Film is written like Shakespeare compared to 90% of the MCU stuff that has come afterwards. Just saw the last episode of Loki - almost text book errors of writing. - There are no character arcs. - There are no stakes - the story ends as it begins - with nothing really having happened to anyone. - It's McGuffin driven (time loom - the movie), instead of character driven. And - it is very obvious that the ending was changed to consider the idea that Jonathan Majors may soon be a very *minor* player in the MCU. - The title character - Loki - has been completely forgotten. Yes there is lots of screen time for Hiddleston and Ego Service for him - which is fan service for the audience, but - there - is - no - Loki in the film. Boooo Marvel. You brought this on yourself. And to think I hailed and still hail the genius of Endgame...and you squandered all that good will.

_“Alright the Gloves ready”_ Tony, Rocket and Professor Hulk are 3 scientific geniuses and each are shown here developing the gauntlet in a context related to their history in the MCU. *Rocket:* Found a way to extract the power stone from Ronin’s War Hammer - then he found a way to extract the reality stone from Jane, so he presides over the final fitting of the Stone’s into the Gauntlet. *Banner:* Joined the Avengers in the 1st place to help SHIELD with the tesseract (actually a concept in physics for a 4 dimensional object that can explain how the 4th dimension in space at right angles to the other 3 is *what we perceive as time.* ) because he is the world’s leading authority on gamma radiation which the space stone gives off. He is shown monitoring (containing?) the radiation given off by the stones from his computer. *Stark* Has Holographic tech that allows you to manipulate Nano bots and remotely handle objects and he is seen physically fitting the stones into the Gauntlet. Whole scene is like 2 seconds, but contains more science and logic than many entire SCI FI films do.

21:08 My best guess as to what's happening is because both the new gauntlet and Tony's suit are both his nanotech, he was able to move the stones over to his hand because they were touching and temporarily "merged" while Tony was pretending to struggle. He wasn't trying to take the gauntlet off of Thanos, he was buying time for the Nanotech to move the stones over.

Yes. It’s the Stark maneuver and it’s brilliant. I really appreciate the intelligence of this film. It’s just flat out smarter than most of the rest of the MCU. If you think this was easy to do, look at Snyder Cut Justice League. Stupid film. Look at what appears to be happening with Eternals (no I haven’t seen it yet, but probably won’t see it in theaters). Smart writing is rare, and almost non existent in fantasy film. Dune 2021 is another example of a smartly written fantasy film.

@summertyme5748 2 роки тому
@Bartolo Clemen No. It has nothing to do with predestination. Although in fairness I can see how you can misconstrue it. It simply means you can’t travel back to the past because it already happened. You always exist in the here and now - the present. You are always creating a future- which has not happened yet. (Hence the redundant - new future) In multiverse time travel you travel to another reality - you exist in the present of this reality - you move towards the future in that new reality. There is no predestination since whatever will happen in the new future is unknowable. Even the Watcher - or Kang the Conquerer from Loki does not and cannot know the future of an alternate universe in the multiverse. (Which is one of the reasons that Kang tries to destroy such ‘variants’.) It’s an elegant concept - but when I see things like What If - I wonder if MCU’s next generation of writers are likely to understand it.

I found the line to have a double meaning: It's purposefully ironic in the sense you mentioned but it also is a good line to give to a soon to be father who will unfortunately be absent for much of his son's life. An additional thought I had is that I feel like one could say Howard figured out that it was his son who he spoke too that day because in IM2 he's left that puzzle for Tony to figure out which is ridiculous to leave a child to decipher unless he somehow knew Tony was going to achieve something far greater than he could imagine. I like to think that while he couldn't confirm it, he eventually knew.

Actually The actress Emma Furhmann (born Sept. 2001) was *16* at the time of shooting (which wrapped in January of 2018 making Emma 16 years 4 months old) - exactly the age of the character. Cassie Lang - born in 2007 - Snapp occurred in 2018 at the age of 11. She was not snapped. In 2023 Cassie is you guessed it ..... *16.* So the film is perfect with its casting in terms of age. *5 years later - more people understand and accept that the time travel in this film is to multiple universes in the multiverse.* Understanding this should never have been a problem. The 1st time you saw Nebula 2023 kill Nebula 2014 .....and yet not die herself, ala Back to the Future......the question was answered. The two Nebula's are from different Universes - that's why 2023 Nebula doesn't die. How does that answer other time travel related questions? Think about it. If you accept that Nebula doesn't die when killing alternate self - then you accept that other Nebula is from a different Universe. If other Nebula is from a different Universe then *so were the stones - the Avengers went to gather from said Universe.* Now you've accepted - whether you admit it or not - that the stones come from different Universes.

*Character driven storytelling* The reason that Cap wielding the hammer is such a cool moment is because there’s much more to it - than a ‘cool’ moment. Zack Synder for example is good at ‘cool’ moments but they are also empty - and have no context or substance beyound titillating 11 year old boys. We saw in Age of Ultron that Cap could budge the hammer but not quite move it. This created a mystery, that goes to the core of how you see the characters and what makes you think of a character as worthy. Thor watched Cap with a bit of concern - which in turn indicated that the God might potentially be jealous of a mortal, who might be just as worthy as Thor. Why would Thor even care? Maybe because the whole reason his father put the enchantment on the hammer - was to question Thor’s character - and to remind Thor that self entitlement of Godhood is *no substitute* for content of character. But there’s more. Is Cap actually worthy? In Winter Soldier he finds out the terrible truth that Bucky murdered Iron Man’s parents - but he hid this from Tony. A ‘lie’ that came back to haunt him as it resulted in the break up of the Avengers. Only after coming clean with Tony - admitting that he knew what Bucky had done and concealed it, can Cap be truly honorable to his own moral standards and not a hypocrite. Thor meanwhile traveled on a downward spiraling journey that reaches one low point - when he pauses to announce his prideful vengeance against Thanos - only to realize that he had avenged nothing. “You should have gone for the head!” But that’s not Thor’s breaking point.....the breaking point occurs when *he does go for the head* but it’s too late. This isn’t revenge. It’s just futility and failure. Thanos has completed his mission, ‘destroyed’ the stones to remove temptation - and died by hand of Thor - just as Thanos foresaw - and effectively commanded Thor to do in Endgame. Making his inevitable victory now as complete as Thor’s failure. When in Endgame Thor is about to be killed by Thanos, and Cap picks up the hammer, all the change and growth of the characters now reaches a point of payoff. Thor - is no longer driven by ego. He can both accept Cap’s worthiness and admit that he needs the help of the mortal to vanquish this foe. it’s no just longer about *him.* Captain America - is not attempting to lift the hammer in a prideful act of machismo, he is doing so to save Thor and everyone else’s life. Thor does not put his thumb on the scale to stop Cap from lifting the hammer - he now shares his power with his friends, just as he did earlier with Iron Man. “I knew it.” Character driven story telling, not just mindless action scenes. Another reason why Endgame is a great film.

When Thanos fights Strange he isn't trying to kill Strange and take the stone. He can't. For the same reason that Dormammu can't. He has to get Strange to willingly give up the Stone. This fact is what Strange exploits in order to bargain for Tony's life. A lot of viewers don't get any of this. They don't get why Thanos didn't kill Strange. They don't get why Strange hide the time stone from Thanos instead of trying to use it on him. They don't get why Strange give Thanos the Stone. They don't get why Strange can't use the stone to bring Tony back. The reason so many super hero films suck is because they are aimed at the lowest common denominator of not very bright audiences who can't understand, well, anything.

*Yes Tony can wield the gauntlet - no Captain Marvel can't. Here is why:* The Infinity Gauntlet is body, mind and soul, connected to space time and reality. This means that *if* you are strong enough in body mind and soul to bear the gauntlet then you can command the Universe. The most powerful limiting factor is clearly the soul stone. Its uniqueness is explained by the Demon Red Skull in Infinity War. In order to harness its power you *must* sacrifice the soul of someone that you love. It's an everlasting exchange. Thanos sacrifices his daughter Gamora - likely the only person in the universe he loves. Banner sacrifices Natasha. Tony -> *sacrifices himself* -> He willingly gives himself to the soul stone. In exchange for ridding the Universe of Thanos. This is why the scene does not show him struggling while the power of the stones flows thru his body. That is the nature of sacrifice - to know - and to withstand - for something greater than yourself. Given this: *Of course Danvers couldn't have handled the stones.* No matter how powerful she might be. Physical power is *not* enough. This is not a problem that can be *overpowered.* The requirements are of body, mind and soul. (Danvers has physical power, but neither intellectual genius and more to the point - the spiritual connection via sacrifice to the soul stone) You must be able to *give* not take. That's actually the thesis of the film. Which is intelligent and unusual for these kinds of films, and that is why some did not get it. They are still on comix 101 level and don't know why Superman doesn't punch the problem in the face. lol

Mention the time stamps and the movies from which you have taken your comment. In NO movie is it mentioned that gauntlet is mind,body and soul. The only thing they have emphasized on is that the stones are so powerful even individually that no ordinary being can wield them. Everything you have mentioned is pure speculation on your part. Cinemasins has actually used scenes from the movie to make this point. If you are sure that these scenes have happened and that this concept was established in the previous movies and it was us 'dumb' people who missed it, make your OWN video countering the sins in this video. _why do u think captain Marvel cannot sacrifice herself._ Because she *does not know* about the Soul Stone sacrifice. Again like so many on CinemaSins you have LOST the plot and the context of it. Her goal is to get the stones back to their Universe -that is the mission. It's not - let me kill myself in order to kill Thanos. That's not something that would ever occur to her lol, at any point in this story. Indeed even Tony is reconciled to do this only *after* every other option including CAPTAIN MARVEL - has been defeated. Such good writing. It's the criticism that simply isn't keeping up.

@summertyme5748
@summertyme5748 2 роки тому
Of course. This was originally meant as a silly joke. But once you combine - fans who are mad because Tony died - and lack of common sense, you get these desperate attempts to rewrite the story. Ask them if they think Antman could kill Superman by expanding from inside his body. Superman’s *eyeball* stops bullets, but you think an insect size man could expand right thru him (??) The silliness of it becomes obvious once they are not using a silly idea to get a desired result - but rather it leads to an undesirable result.
@summertyme5748
@summertyme5748 2 роки тому
BTW: For those who are really perceptive - in the Guardians scene - it’s Gamora who finally slays the Inter-dimensional beast with her God-Sword. This sword was given to her by Thanos - in the comics and (in the comics) is meant to kill Asgardians. Most likely also built by Etri’s people in the MCU. Anyway - this is the same sword she used to slit Thanos throat on KnowWhere - in Infinity War. However - it does not work, because Thanos already had the reality stone and can alter reality to be whatever he wants it to be. [the reality stone alters *reality* - it is the mind stone - not the reality stone - that creates illusions] When Garmora kills him - in one pocket reality - he steps thru a portal from another - unharmed. This is also another reason why Thor’s Stormbreaker would never have killed Thanos. It is no different than Gamora’s God Sword. At the end of Infinity War Thanos just used the time stone and space stone to reverse the axe out of his chest and teleport to the farm. He has no damage from Stormbreaker at all. Those who repeat the same ‘sin’s about using Stormbreaker or Antman to defeat Thanos, are wrong, and are not paying attention to the films.

I don't know if the complications of adding 3.5 billion to the population are the better or worse than the complications of losing 3.5 billion people. I think about that stadium shot and the large number of cars in the parking lot despite an empty stadium. I would think the price of cars would plummet as the number of drivers gets halved suddenly but the numbers of cars stayed the same. However they would probably have those empty cars towed after a while, no? Unless baseball was outlawed after the snap.

*Iron Man Becomes First MCU Film Inducted into National Film Registry* The key to Iron Man is the conception of his character by RDJ and Feige. _When he announced _*_I Am IronMan_* - this meant comic book conventions of secret identities were being abandoned for the sake of *filmmaking.* A film is actors communicating character and creating the illusion for the audience. Comic books *have no actors.* They are drawn. The comic book is the artist's *drawings* which communicate meaning. They are two completely different forms of art and you cannot 'paste' one onto the other. Allowing the actors to unmask was the stroke of genius that Feige and RDJ figured out. There are virtually no secret identities in the MCU. When Gwyneth Paltrow tells Tony _you can rest now_ the audience is weeping (i witnessed this multiple time in the theaters - everyone but me, right 😉) it's because RDJ has created a character that the audience cares about. It's this - *not the CGI* - not the super powers that actually makes the audience care. The great Kirk Douglas (Hank Pym's dad, for you kids) , said _the actor doesn't get caught in the illusion, the actor CREATES the illusion and the audience gets caught up in it._ Still today....does DCU understand this? Nope. Does the Star Wars Universe get it, how about James Cameron who seems always so impressed with himself? No - he - doesn't. He still thinks its the spectacle that makes a film great, and you don't need actors, story, dialogue and meaning. Iron Man's place in Cinema history is well earned.

Natasha went with him because she cares about Clint and has his back. She is the one who gave him hope to begin with. She saved him just like he saved her. Sure I get that the video is trying to be funny. But what CinemaSins-goof has in common with those who think he is funny is that they are both clueless. That’s what funny.

It has been bugging me, since you always refer to it, but Tony Stark DID NOT solve time travel in 1 night. Multiple reasons: 1. We do not know how long he was working on it prior to Cap, Nat and Scott showing up. There is a clear implication that he was playing around with time travel. And 2. We do not know how much time has passed from when Cap and crew leave and when Tony solves the problem. All we saw was Tony washing the dishes, looking at the pic of Peter, and putting Morgan to bed. For all we know, weeks could have passed, as seen when Hulk and Scott are trying out their solution, they had to construct the computer systems, the cables, and write the programs.
@summertyme5748
@summertyme5748 Рік тому
Yes. CinemaSins only thinks Tony solved time travel because they take his ego and sarcasm literally. They "hear" the words - but can't *understand context* and pay no attention to the facts of the very story they are watching. Here are the facts: The time machine is the Quantum Tunnel built by genius Hank Pym over 20 years to get Janet Van Dyne out of the Quantum Realm. She is the one who discovered the time vortexes in the Quantum Realm. Scott Lang experienced this and had the idea of the time machine. Banner is the one who turned the Quantum Tunnel into a machine that could send time backwards and forwards thru the Traveler. All of this is based on Pym particles needed to get into the Quantum Realm which neither Tony nor Banner can isolate on their own. What Tony solves is a specific problem via brilliant Engineering. That's what he does. The problem he solved: How to get Banner/Pym's Quantum Tunnel time machine to send the person thru space/time instead of time thru the person - which Banner had already accomplished. (even the video acknowledged that - but complained about that also, one of its many contradictions.) And yes as you point out, he does this over 5 years after he gets exposed to advanced alien technology from the Guardians- including tech that allows them to send real time distress signal across 1000s of light years of space. (CinemaSins has zero understanding of science or science fiction) Sure Tony is brilliant. But genius is Tony's Superpower and complaining about him being too smart is like complaining about Hulk being too strong. It's silly. It's also telling that the one amazing feat that CinemaSins goobers can't accept is a feat of astounding intellect.

_In Infinity War, how did Thor know to come back straight to Wakanda?_ He brought the pod back from NoWhere- so either he traveled back to earth with Rocket and Groot in the Pod, or……he used the Bifrost and brought the Pod back to earth, and then tracked the alien Invasion to Wakanda. (Since he doesn’t have the pod with him in Wakanda) Note: No matter which version of events you choose - there is *no exposition* for it, because it’s boring. You want to see Thor’s dramatic intro. Not him going thru the process of finding out what’s going on - on Earth and where everyone is at…when we are watching the battle and the heroes are losing. Likewise: _If the Guardians ship is out of fuel……how do they then use it to travel to the Planet to confront Thanos?_ Once the ship is back on earth, then they have access to at least 3 sources of space fuel from Cosmic characters 1)- Danvers who is/was a member of Kree Star/Force (the Guardians ship is a Kree ship). 2) Rocket who has the Pod - that Thor brought back, and access to intersteller communications - which he used to track Thanos location. 3) Thor, who has the bifrost and can go anywhere and get anything. You want to see the Avengers go after Thanos. You don’t want to see them refueling the ship, or making plans for what they will do when they get there. Exposition should only exist to explain things that cannot otherwise be explained. A good example is - you do need some explanation for guns in action films w/unlimited supply of bullets. 😂 But you don’t need to see in that same movie, the car stop for gas. lol 😂 Filmmaking 101.

2:25 "All Nebula knew was the garden" Wrong. She knew that Thanos intended to 'retire' after the snap and exactly where he was going. Hence the joke by Rhodes: _Thanos has a retirement plan._ Rocket knew there was a spectacular energy surge - implicitly unlike anything naturally occurring. The result of both items of information suggest that Thanos would be there. Try not to make the mistake - that so many make and give the characters information they don't have. *They don't know the energy surge means Thanos destroys the stones.* They think he still has them, which means he can be anywhere in the Universe. It's really *Nebula* who knew the whole time exactly where he was- Rocket is only providing the confirming evidence. Nebula knows *because Thanos told her* - so now *she tells us.* Lol. Just have to pay attention. Also you have to think: *Why didn't Nebula just tell them earlier??* Why does she tell them - only now? There is an answer - in the film - *if you are smart enough to follow a story and understand character motivation.* So I will wait and give you a chance to think about it.......
@summertyme5748
@summertyme5748 Рік тому
Times up. *Nebula doesn't initially tell them what she knows - because she doesn't want to face Thanos again.* All her life - he has tormented her with failure. Infinity War comes about in fact, in part because *she* snuck aboard his Ship [her home] and tried to kill him. She got caught, and this directly led to the disaster of Thanos getting the Soul Stone. She knows what it means that Thanos controls space/time/reality, body mind and soul. To confront him means they are likely going to their doom. He would already know they are coming. He would know what they are thinking *before* they do. He has been there and done that - defeated them before they even begin. The reason she decides to tell them - is *only because Carol Danvers decides to go after him.* _Where are you going!_ - Rogers _To kill thanos!_ - Danvers _Do you even know where he is?_ - Rhodes _I know people who might._ - Danvers And *that's when Nebula pipes up.* She agrees to help them only after they decide that they are going anyway. When they reach Thanos - retirement planet Danvers reports: _There's no one here - it's just him._ Nebula: _And...that's enough._ She knows Thanos would never just be taken by surprise - he *let them* live in the 1st place when *he didn't have to.* After all - he told Thor he should have gone for the head - with StormBreaker buried in his chest...then he snapped using all 6 stones to wipe out 1/2 the Universe. *Still alive* - he then used the time stone to reverse Stormbreaker out of his chest and *left it there for Thor.* He used the space stone to teleport to the farm where.... *all damage to his chest and clothes from Stormbreaker has now been reverted, as if it never happened.* He let Thor live and gave him StormBreaker back....atomized the stones, and then waited for them to come for him. And now, he can rest. [foreshadowing Tony also at film's end - who also gets to 'rest'] All of this going past CinemaSins. This is the one Super Hero movie that is *smarter* than its wannabe critics because its a well written film about smart characters. They do & say things that *intelligent* people would for subtle reasons with complex motivations. In this genre, that almost never happens. That's why CinemaSins can't understand any of it. 🤣

They didn’t. Nor would they know what it meant, as most of them are *not* Avengers. Which is why he didn’t yell it. Yelling it would be dumb. A really bad filmmaker would probably have cap yell. 😂 Cap calls out the Avengers battle cry. Then Thor - King of Asgard, and T’Challa King of Wakanda scream and charge. Their Asgardian and Wakandan armies… *follow their Kings* - not Steve Rogers. Lol. Then everyone charges forward. It’s a moment of shared leadership which is also what makes Steve a natural leader. Of course CinemaSin’s doesn’t get it. They are natural dumb dumbs. Even when you explain they don’t get it. They catch feelings when they realize a movie based on comic books went *over their heads* intellectually. 😂

12:15 _It seems like the main issue isn’t branch realities - but that this timeline wouldn’t have a timestone anymore?_ [ding] It seems like this is simply your trying to understand what is happening - so what is the ding for? Trying to make sense of what you’re saying [never easy] could be you’re implying that you don’t see why branch realities are an issue? The answer is - the 3rd act of the film. Because Thanos found out - he created a branch reality. The consequence of which is that he traveled to the future to attack the Avengers in this timeline. He came within a whisker of defeating the Avengers - AGAIN, and his plan would have then eliminated from the Avengers all memory of what happened. So yeah - CinemaSins…..that is a problem.

@summertyme5748
@summertyme5748 4 роки тому
No you don't. You see people come back and assume they come back exactly where they died. Banner can bring them back where ever he wants. Why would he knowingly bring back someone in some way that will kill them? He obviously doesn't since there is no mention or suggestion of this in the film and there would be if that were the case. This notion that people would be hurt coming back is quite dumb, and based on the viewer not understanding that the snap is the will of the Gauntlet bearer and not a mindless result of some unknowable magical force. The *mindlessness* in question is being imposed by you, on the film. The film is intelligent. You can keep not getting it of course, but that's a sin on you.

Dialogue vs. Exposition - for CinemaSins. Dialogue - characters speak to ‘each other.’ They express and reflect unique voices and personalities and motivations and psychologies. By indirection this imparts the film’s meaning. Exposition - Actor is really talking to the ‘audience’ explaining what is happening on screen, usually because the filmmaking cannot show or does not trust you to comprehend the indirect aspects of dialogue. There are key moments of Endgame which are dialogue but CinemaSins wants exposition - as simpletons will. Examples: ⬇️
@summertyme5748
@summertyme5748 Рік тому
_I think I solved it….time travel._ - Tony Stark. To CinemaSins this means Tony Stark invented time travel - over night. Because they believe he just engaged in exposition - explaining what happened to the audience. That’s *not* the case. This is….dialogue. Tony is a genius who is also a brat. He is an egoist who fronts off about being a shallow narcissist (playboy, billionaire, genius) to hide the fact that he is deeply humanitarian and driven by guilt. _I lost the kid._ - Tony _No…WE lost._ - Steve (classic) All of that is in a single sentence. Telling Pepper he solved time travel sounds like bragging…. *I solved it.* But it really is doubt. “I *think* so…and this might not be a good idea, after all Ultron was my idea, how did that turn out?” He is asking for advice. _Maybe I should throw it away. I can’t help everyone._ - Tony. _Seems like maybe you can._ - Pepper _Maybe I should stop._ - Tony. _Yeah right….you can’t._ - Pepper. This is excellent writing and good dialogue. To bad CinemaSins missed every f’king bit of it, because the film is smart and they, just aren’t. Which leads me to,…. ⬇️
@summertyme5748
@summertyme5748 Рік тому
Time travel is -> -> Janet’s Pym particles trap her in the Quantum Realm. -> Hank develops the Quantum Tunnel to get her out. This takes 30 years, -> Janet discovers time vortexes in the Quantum Realm. She warns Scott about them. -> Scott gets trapped in the Quantum Realm. The Quantum Tunnel is turned off when the snap happens. (The implication is that someone - Hope (?) - shut down the tunnel when they saw the snappening. Would make sense as they might have assumed the tunnel was causing the event at that moment. -> The Quantum tunnel and Scotts timer lose sync. Scott comes back when his timer defaults to 5 hours. -> The Quantum Tunnel gets turned on - in 5 years. It just kicks him out as soon as its accidentally turned on - like the last email stuck in the queue. *That’s why 5 hours = 5 years.* ->. Scott infers that this could lead to a time machine which could help the Avengers. -> Tony is skeptical. -> Professor Hulk - takes Pym’s Quantum tunnel and develops it to do the following… -> It links the traveler in the Quantum Realm thru the time vortexes - this allows time to be sent forward and reverse thru the traveler. Essentially it’s a software technique - on top of Pym’s hardware. -> Pym’s particles and Tunnel, Van Dyne’s discovery, Lang’s accidental experiment, and Banner’s *intentional* experiment. An absolute win! -> So what does Tony do? -> Tony anticipates the problem with the time traveling results: Time is being sent thru the person instead of the person being sent thru space/time - which is what they need. -> Tony then solves an *engineering* problem with a hardware solution as the world’s most brilliant engineer would…. -> He develops a space/time GPS inverting Banner’s - Pym/Van Dyne time machine so that it sends the traveler thru space time instead of time thru the traveler: *I think I solved it.* All that meaning comes from dialogue, not exposition.
