I love how you can just hear the Villager voice in certain bits of Dan’s speech

Errors that I noticed that weren’t mentioned: in the desert area with the rabbit error, there is a Husk on a cactus. During the ancient city section, the zombie is missing it’s helmet. During the section near the Minecart section, a pillager bops early.

The fact that they started as a "villager news" joke and turned into animators that are requested by mojang themselves show how much they evolved over the years.

Imagine every time they find something wrong, they say “Wah-wah-wahhh!”

As a TV Productions student in highschool, this really tickles my soft spots because this is almost exactly how the support facilitator would analyze every morning show and video created by our respective groups.

Its fun how before villager news element animation did many other things not around Minecraft and their "mascot" was a living egg character. But since villager news was so popular they became their new "mascot"

I think that if they keep making less and less videos every year, then this channel is going to faded into obscurity. At this point, I think they're moving on to make projects for Minecon and working for clients. While I feel sad that they're no longer produce egg content, I’m happy for them to try something different away from UKposts and stuff. And I'm using Maya for animation school. Even if they announced that they would quit UKposts, I would say, thank you for the memories I had with this channel and best wishes for the future.

The frog that clips into the grass isn't a problem. It's super accurate to real Minecraft. Same with Alex's arm going through the sign.

The frog clipping through the glass actually makes more sense. Cause grass in minecraft has no collision so the frog would phase through it in the normal game.

A lot of the problems were things that would probably work by minecraft logic, such as the frog clipping through grass.

woahh i just got this recommended and i remember watching you guys all the time in middle school! cool that you’re still doing minecraft animations! and i didn’t know you guys did the minecraft live animations that’s awesome!

These are some of my favorite videos on this channel, cause as someone who's also trying to do animation, it reminds me that at the end of the day, animation will always be a process full of mistakes and an animation doesn't have to be perfect to be good.

You guys are my favorite. Been watching since I was 12. One of the biggest reasons I'm so obsessed with animation now. I'd love to learn 3d animation but don't really have the money for all the fancy programs or college so for now I'm stuck doing my own little 2D animations but hopefully one day I'll learn the art of 3D animation! ❤

As someone who learned to use Maya a few years ago after using Blender for 4 Years, it's a pain regarding bugs and crashes because, as my Professor would say, Maya is sensitive when you're mean to them.

Learning to model and animate in Maya in my college classes, I feel 3:35 so hard.

I am very glad you guys are still posting content and I have been a Subscriber for year's and I remember loving your guys "an eggs guide to Minecraft" I wish it was continued but I also enjoy your guys villager news videos. They always got me through a stressful day at school and made me and many others laugh, so thank you for all the wonderful times.

It looks like the pillager is bobbing it's head early. At 13:12 when all the other mobs are just standing there you can just barely see his head moving back and forth between the zombies gold helmet and right arm (left side of the zombie from our perspective).

I think the funniest thing here is something unnoticed. the Zombie looses it's Golden helmet from time to time, especially in the warden cave, he even talked about the unanimated zombie but completely failed to notice the missing helmet. clearly zombie was accidentally forgotten here

Honestly, the rabbit just chilling in the end makes it even better. I see it more of an Easter egg then a mistake, regardless of how it got there. (10:02 for context)

It’s now official October first it’s been 13 years since he’s made his channel. Happy 13 year anniversary bro

I like how the video consisted of a few references to old videos. Here’s all that I could find. 0:50 A squid lands on the villager’s face. This is a callback to the song 500 Chunks, a parody of 500 Miles. At the beginning of the second chorus, a squid pops out of the water and lands on the accompanying villager’s face. The scream also sounds similar. 1:40 James is asked why he’s in the call, and he replies with “But I want to be in here.” This is a reference to the last Minecraft Short, James isn’t allowed in here. At least he isn’t kicked out this time, though. 12:47 A reference to the original Christmas with the Villagers. A villager in the original clip, throws a snowball at another villager. This time, though, the villager throwing the axe isn’t attacked like in the original.

I loved that opening bit. The people at Element Animation are so hard on themselves.
