@Sabrina Carpenter Biggest Fan basically Taylor had the option to leave her previous record label, Big Machine, and sign with a new one, but would have to leave her masters (basically just the right to own her songs and have control over what happens to them), or stay at the label and earn her masters back one at a time for every new album she sold since signing a new deal. She chose to leave Big Machine and sign with a new label instead. Scooter ended up buying the Big Machine label, so he now owns the right to Taylor’s work. This would be strictly business I guess, but the problem is, Scooter bullied Taylor and bragged about “owning” her on his Instagram after he became the owner of most of her music. Taylor also says she experienced incessant manipulation and bullying because of Scooter for years, which doesn’t surprise me, given he had artists like Demi and Justin defend him and attack Taylor/her team. So, yeah not a great guy by any means, to put it lightly.

@Sabrina Carpenter Biggest Fan i mean no one knows exactly why, but if i had to guess, it’s because he’s a big help to her career. from what i’ve heard, he’s very good at his job (prob why he manages some of the biggest names in the industry). ariana’s career skyrocketed when she first signed with him. supposedly tho, he does take it too far in terms of his influence over the people he manages sometimes. ariana fired him before in 2016, allegedly because he wanted to control her personal life too much. she hired him back in 6 months after setting up that boundary, allegedly (although, his side of the story is that ari’s bf at the time caused a riff between them, and she hired him again after he was out of the picture.) during the riff between him and Taylor, Ari did post a picture of a party celebrating him buying Big Machine, but after Taylor put out a post explaining how he bullied her and tried to dismantle her career, she took it down, supposedly, because she didn’t wanna be involved. i also want to point out, while i am strictly on taylor’s side because I believe her just from the information she has shared and from what i’ve seen of scooter during the feud, but there’s probably a lot of details that we’ll never hear about, so this is prob far from the full picture, so i wouldn’t pass judgement on ari or anyone’s decision to still work for him.

SO I think last year (I'm not sure though) there was this whole thing where Taylor Swift's label was sold to Scooter Braun and so were her masters. Basically, all of this happened without her permission and she was outright denied the right to repurchase her work. honestly im glad we didn't. there already so many people constantly asking for a collab between bts and ariana, and although i get it, it does get annoying after a certain point. if they wanna collab then they will when they're ready, it shouldn't be shoved down their throats. i feel like him being in the documentary would just make it so much worse (there's also a small amount of fans shipping the two of them--- [?????] and i just know that jk being the documentary would encourage them lol).
