Should i clear the chests and shards from the left and right sides in the rocks area or just follow the path which you went? Because i went with a similar route but its just that a little slower as a free player

If you want to get lots of chests on the expedition then you can use gems. but never use gems to buy platinum chests, it's not worth it. the price is too expensive. and you don't necessarily get a good legendary card in the platinum chest.
