i think its just that the game thinks boats fall at a normal speed, but they fall kinda slowly, so it bugs out. the same thing happened to me when i dropped a boat onto a pressure plate

@GerZ Vcmp its mainly the cpu that does work in tnt explosions lol, the gpu dosen't do much apart from render the explosion effect (which is just a texture)

it's called delayed input. the boat already reached the pressure plate but wasn't visibly true. gravity works different there and his line of vision didn't capture the exact speed of the boat's fall. That's why in his view, it activated first before the boat hit the pressure plate. Try it and read the full documentation of the game if you want. edit: not all games have to be perfect. some are imperfect to be optimized.
