@@DarrylKinson Wow... did he say what the shaft was for? I have always wondered as it is in my Valley of the Kings book that I have had for decades at this point. Thanks for the reply.

@@All_Hail_Chael I'm not sure it led to anything of much significance, which makes it all the more mysterious. Why did the ancient Egyptians go to the trouble of building it?
