Come tour around one of my favorite neighborhoods in all of Honolulu.... Salt! I used to live here, and absolutely love this area. Some of my favorite spots to eat, hang out, grab a coffee, shop, and just cruise around. Very unique vibe here in this highly sought after section of Kaka'ako. Enjoy!

I love this area - but my heart is with Ala Moana... This area, though is very beautiful so glad it's safe and walkable in the evenings...

Loved seeing all the retail shops in the area including the food court, and then having you mix in info and prices of the surrounding buildings. Awesome stuff!

FYI...For all the "old-timers"...UFC Gym used to be Pipeline Cafe, up until 2006-08 or so...Pohukaina

Was such a fun spot for concerts. If you go in ufc gym you can sort of visualize how it used to be.

Haven't been down around Restaurant Row, seems like Ages, but are the theaters still there? They were Cheap. Think Tues/Thurs was $1 matinee movies??

no more theatres. Hawai’i pacific university is now one of its main tenants since they shut down their fort street mall campus. It’s getting nicer at restaurant row, but still kinda similar vibes from 10-20 years ago. It’s trying though!

For sure. There are a few buildings in this area deemed “affordable housing”, but you have to qualify in order to be able to purchase them. Most of the new buildings coming up are even pricier than the numbers I mention in the video.
