I think today we witnessed both: F1 at its worst and best at the same time… Insane race

Lando was great in his interview. He was honest and great at explaining the race from his perspective. We need drivers to be more honest and open up on how the race was like Lando did today.

Utterly insane debut for Saudi Arabia. I think most would agree that this tight and fast track would cause some drama. However, I did not expect FIA negotiations(!?), Max and Lewis having incidents, etc. I'm glad I tuned into this one.

16:00 I would like to congrats Lando for not hitting Pérez sideways (in T), when Pérez was in a very danger position after spinning with his touch in Charles. That would have been an serious crash, worse than Fittipaldi and Pourchaire.

Very rough and messy race. Watched it live. Though I was glued to the screen because every lap seemed unpredictable, it was due to never ending safety cars, VSCs, red flags, and not fair but hard racing

Such a crazy and ridiculous race. But it’s set up the finale PERFECTLY. Equal points, Verstappen ahead in a tie, momentum with Hamilton, Ver won Abu Dhabi last year, track different this year, Ham with a fresher engine, engine didn’t dominate in Saudi like it did in Brazil - cannot wait

The FIA created 50% of all the drama, they were just so messy today.

This race may have been great for the sport, but as a racing fan, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth. Regardless of who you support, I think we can all agree we don't want races determined by penalties and crashes.

I predict Lewis will pass Max on the final corner of the final lap at the final race just after both of them overtake Glock.

fully agree with Lando that red flag rule needs to be removed, its plain dumb and has saved drivers/teams who have made a mistake.

Louis has always fought fair and square - as opposed to Max who will not give way no matter what. LH is something else!!!

I don't like lewis all that much but he didn't put a foot wrong today. He had max looking like his little brother.

That was a mental race. But I am a happy Alfa Romeo Sauber fan tonight. Antonio drove well to get 2pts. Kimi was a bit off today but there is still a chance to get some points for Kimi's final race.

Amazing. Thankful for the best F1 season in my opinion. Much respect for the title contenders, how they are giving everything from their heart out... Same with their teams. I really wanted Ocon to make it to the podium, and I would give Sainz driver of the day. On to Abu Dhabi, with the perfect end of the most exciting season in a long time. I felt for Max & Lewis, since I think it was confusing with the slow clarifications from stewards, I tought that Max was like: "I should give back the position, so I slow down to let Lewis pass", they crash, then it was like, "In case I'm getting a 5 second penalty, I will speed up, to prevent going down to third", then, "I will let Lewis pass again, just in case", and then Max took the lead again... While Lewis on the other hand, also pretty confused, thinking "What's he doing?" "Is he ever going to give back the position?" Even when Max gave it back twice. In the end, happy to see them safe, and hoping that this track is moved earlier on the calendar, as spectacular as it is, since a championship shouldn't be defined on the desk, but on the track.

It’s almost like a made for tv drama , use penalties and red flags to be sure the title fight is even at the last race. Seems they mostly overlooked the fact that there were 18 other cars on track that could not pass unless all reasonable caution is thrown to the wind . The list of drivers that got points on their super license says more about the track than anything

So in 2008 Lewis passes Raikonen at Spa at the final corner being pushed off by Raikonen, LH takes evasive manouvre, lets Raikonen by on the straight, and then passes him back at turn 1 - LH gets a 25 second penalty!!. Max, lets LH past and then takes him straight away at the corner - and he gets what? F'ALL???

I guess it's not just the car when you get fastest lap with a damaged wing on used hard tyres... 🤷🏾‍♂️
