@@granofuru As Mikko explains, if Hamilton had another 6 or 7 seconds on Verstappen, he would've been able to pit during the safety car for free. You need 14 seconds to pit during the safety car, when it was called Max was 11 behind hamilton. an extra 6 seconds means hamilton WOULD'VE pit and still emerged P1, and probably kept his lead. Though it would've been a great last lap fight between Max and Lewis on fresh softs.
