Aït-Nouri was terrific for the whole game, José Sá kept Wolves alive but was very cynical with the 'injury' that allowed O'Neil to get the ipads out and coach the team for what seemed like an age. Overall City deserved this and it's great to see a Championship team get this far in the competition

I’m telling you it’s true, it’s because we’re a counter-attacking team exclusively. Our players are extremely pacy and/or have amazing short/long-range passing, players like Rayan, Semedo, Neto or Cunha will instantly punish you if you miss a corner, go watch the Spurs game where Gomes and Neto combined to retake the lead. However worse teams like Burnley will sit back and put most of their players near or inside the box at all times, and we struggle to break into the spaces and create any chances because a lot of our players are pretty weak. This game was a bit different though, our defence was just unaware and we had no forwards besides Sarabía, Fraser (invisible) and Chiwome (also invisible), we had to use Lemina as a winger which obviously failed and we were disorganised.

Still bitter eh?

Just remember at the end of the day, you are in the championship and we are in the premiership 🙂 and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

@@stuartgibson9749 It hit his elbow and as i said Sa was barged to the floor by a Coventry player which prevented Sa from having a chance of saving the shot. Two fouls lead to that goal. It should have been disallowed.

I agree VAR is a joke.. But for a handball to be given the ball has to have hit under the badge on the arm of the shirt which couldn't be seen in the replays.. Hopefully they change the VAR nonsense though.. Games in the championship are much better without..
