I remember this young man beating Alcaraz early this year in a very similar style. Alcatraz looked quite at a loss in that match even.

Not sure if the highlights show it, but Juan Carlos Ferrero was in the stands at this match. Its quite clear to me that the Alcaraz team sees this guy as a legitimate threat. That says alot about his future on tour. Kudos Fabian!!

I watched him live in Banja Luka and even then it was clear that he would be an excellent player. I was sorry that we were all rooting for the local player (Dzumhur), but I promised myself that I would make up for it and support him whenever he didn't play against any of the local players.

This guy is ridiculously good. He's like a more mentally stable and mature Janowicz but from Hungary. He will cause the top 10 massive headaches in the years to come, and he may well join them in the rankings echelon in that time.

@@Bono9850 I actually think it is impressive, how not so? We are speaking about a top ten player of the world, so it has to be good. He is very accurate with it and has a good tactical combination of slice and drive. I think it is highly underrated, as is and was Nadals backhand. They are both very similar in style and usage.

When i watched Marozsan beating Alcaraz earlier this year, i said to myself: This kid is literally like a less muscular copy of Carlos! Their styles are very similar, only difference - Marozsan's shots a weaker, but in drop shots they are like twins! I do remember that in that match Maroszan was bombarding Alcaraz with his own medicine-drop shots, and the look on the face of Carlos was saying that he doesn't like this medicine 😁

@@huzcer And that's crazy. Cause this kid definitely got talent, but he is very inconsistent. Same I thought about Miomir Kecmanovic after his ¼ in Miami vs For me, It was the top-5 match of the 2021 year. This was my first time, when I saw Miomir and he was as fit, as mobile, as speedy as Carlos.And after that epic match I thought: wow those 2 youngsters will be in top-10 in 2 years time! But after that match only Carlos did what I was expecting from him to do. But Miomir didn't do much in 2,5 years. Yes he remained a good player, but...only good,...not top. Don't know maybe Fabian will gain more power and stamina and will become more stable? We'll see🤷♂️, time will tell.

@@bestcommentator_ Agree that Alcaraz - Kec match was one of the best of the year but led to nothing for Kec and he's ranked just inside the Top 50 now. Consistent performance is the most important trait in tennis.

Yeah, they are very good, but not as good as Alcaraz's. Ruud is playing too far from baseline which is easy to exploit.

Marozsán starting to make nervous big players. But phisically hi is behind the top level if he improves on that he could be top ten i guess. Hungarian: Na már rég szurkoltam így teniszezőnek mint neki 15 40-nél döntő szettben majdnem elúszott a hajó, de visszahozta,nagyon látszik hogy mennyire nem bírta fizikálisan remélem kipiheni magát, kevés játékosnak van ilyen összehangolt mozgása mint neki.

The tennis point system is broken. Players like Felix Auger Aliassine can lose most of his matches but is still top 20, while others struggle to make the top 150, even with 65% winning rate. Fabian is better than most players in the top 75 and time will prove it.
