Easy when you are in the workshop and have a vice and the correct size piece of wood. The correct way is no wood, no vice and a blunt hacksaw. If you are lucky there might be a pallet to saw on. Oh yes and no plaster when you cut your finger 😁🐔

Also, don't forget the vice NEED'S to be firmly fixed to a bench. I don't think I've ever done that before and to be Frank, I don't think I ever will. It DEFINITELY looks like it'd take bloody ages. But in the past, I have had to made up loads of set's and bends in the past but personally. I'd just wait till the end caps turned up as this is such a faff and as ever knows. Time is money! Sod's law this would be the very last bit of trunking left and I also bet you a 1000% that you'd be really stressed out, time has ran out on the job and half a dozen bits have also gone Pete Tong.

Yes but but you don’t need any of that. 4” grinder with slitting disk would be way easier. Yes preformed ends easier and quicker but if you haven’t got one and need to get finished this is a good tip. Everybody is always so negative.

I would just order end caps and bolt them on. 🤣

Easyer to use a grinder. And also score the line to fold with the grinder and it leaves a clean sharp corner

We call them “troughs” here, like a water trough horses drink out of. We order by the size and they get delivered pre made.

Yes, you can't always expect to rely on something newer. Computers crash, supply chains go down, parts run late, etc. Plenty of things happen out of your control, and you can only prepare by knowing more.
