I'm 42 and still crank my FNM CDs in the car. Epic and Falling To Pieces made me a massive fan at age 11 (plus I had a crush on Patton back then). When the girlies were falling for Vanilla Ice etc, I was crankin' my guitar along to FNM, Nirvana, Tool, Gunners etc. My main favourite lead of all time is definitely Layne Staley by far but Patton's a legend🤘🏻

Gleep Wurp This was a Viacom production, so it was a crowd of MTV vetted people. Apparently they agreed to play the 1st single "Midlife Crisis" but instead did the Fantomas style blasts of chaos and screaming and played "Caffeine" defiantly. This dismissal of the network's demand tagged the group with a "blackballed" status which was brilliant since the channel demonstrated that it wasn't loyal to anything.
@Guitarsthatkill4 роки тому
Check the link to the special I posted above. Shows that they played Midlife Crisis, Small Victory and Caffiene. The one they bailed on was possibly Epic or some other expected hit. The was one of the most muscically impacttful, charged, psyche modifying performances of anything on TV. Period haha The moment something real broke through.
