I was adopted through kinship placement at 4 years old. My "parents" never showed me love. I was yelled at and insulted every day, physically harmed regularly and denied nearly anything I requested. I ate ramen noodles 3 times a day my entire 3rd grade year. My clothes had holes, I smelled like dirty dogs. I suffered so horribly it took years to realize that kindness isnt something a person needs to earn. We just deserve it. You have no idea what you're doing for these kids. But I really do. You're showing them they are worth the thought. The money, the effort. You cannot make a person feel like they belong, you have to step them in it. The way so many of us are steeped in apathy. You are saving them from a lifetime of trying to fill their emptiness, you fill them up with love. These 12 children will be pitchers. Thank you so much. Every lunch. Every birthday party. You put their worries to rest. Someone loves them. Someone cares.

i love that you get things JUST because a kiddo is into it now...you are so responsive and present as a mom. also, as someone who lost their mom early in life --this is so nice, i love coming along with you on your errands! your channel's videos are never hectic, only soothing to me.

VERY weird, I know, but these videos actually help me take baby steps in going out. I can't really figure out how though but they do. I love the idea of around the world Monday. Exposing the kids to different cultures foods and experience!!! Is awesome and allows them to try different things. Gives me Inspiration to try different recipes. Had a though you could expand on the idea and maybe watch a movie, documentary or tv show from the country that week and show the kids where that country is on a world map etc

As a person who came up in a family of 11, please do a recycling/garbage video. Based off what you buy and paper plates and all, it must be incredible.

I cannot even imagine keeping food for 14 people stocked! Oh my gosh! You have an amazing system with your store list and your home organization storage. This lady is amazing the time she dedicates cooking, shopping and laundry and her children. I only have 1 14 year son and husband so I work outside the home but this lady seems work 24/7. She is most productive SAHM I have ever seen in my life.

"Skyr" is pronounced like "skeer", it's a type of Icelandic yogurt that's similar in texture and taste to Greek yogurt, so that was a good substitute! I'm surprised Wegmans didn't have it in the yogurt section, skyr has gotten popular due to its likeness to Greek yogurt :-)

It's amazing how happy and calm you always seem. It must be challenging caring for so many of your kids.

These trips are soothing to me. Idk y but lately I have been experiencing anxiety over groceries and supplies. I do know that before the pandemic, I stocked up on barely anything. But for some reason lately - don’t know if because it’s hurricane season or because of all the inflation talk and supply chain issues - I have been spending crazy amounts at the store. This is such a weird feeling for me to feel. I used to be ok with a half empty fridge, now I only feel content if it is stuffed to the gills and it’s just me!

I love these videos it’s so interesting to see US supermarkets even though it’s a mundane task it’s just fascinating to see stores around the world. The package sizes are so huge even brands from my country don’t sell the sizes here they have there. You’re such a great mum and you are always so pleasant and upbeat it makes it joyful to watch you shop, cook and do laundry.

I was in foster care for almost my whole young life from 2-17 and I had some really mean ones that wasn’t good to me it makes my heart happen to see how much y’all love all your friends I wish I would have had foster parents as good as y’all. I finally did find good foster parents that adopted me when I was 18. My adopted parents was amazing I unfortunately lost my dad almost two years ago due to Covid. Love the idea of trying foods around the world! I used to love skyr, it's almost like sour cream mixed with plain yogurt. When i moved to the states i couldn't find it for a long time, then i saw it along with the "healthier" yogurts one time haha. I would eat it like yogurt for breakfast with some honey on top but i heard that you can also use it to bake break and make pancakes.

The basic items, like sugar, flour, oil , maybe macaroni, rice, potatoe, ex, it's really helpful to get those in bulk. In my family those are the items, for a year. Same with meat , you buy a meat for like 3 months supply from farmers. Same includes vegetables, fruit. You prepare them in the reserve, for a year, or less. I hope you get the idea. Makes life easier. Thank you very much ! You are a good mom with lovely kids ! How about Estonian food on Monday ! Sourcrout, potatoes, pork ! Vanilla ice cream with apple juice cocktail ! And some fruit pie ! Like fresh apple pie ! Blueberry sup ! There is so much more ! Wish you well !

Icelandic Yoghurt or Skyr as they call their favourite brand is pronounced ‘Skee-err’ It’s a lovely thick yoghurt, slightly thicker and tarter in taste to Greek yoghurt. It’s very popular here in the UK, a big pot never lives in the fridge for long in my home!! I love watching your weekly grocery hauls, albeit rather mind-boggling. I’m on my own, but occasionally have an extra three to feed, my daughter, her partner and my two year old granddaughter which brings my food bills down considerably next to yours. But like you, anything that keeps my family happy and content, I usually end up buying more than I need to. 💞🇬🇧

I don’t know if it’s just easier for you to get the smaller sizes of sugar and flower, but I recommend buying the larger sizes as it lasts longer and ends up being cheaper in the long run🙂
