For Understanding, It's whoever first beats the other 2 players in a round robin, between FZD, XX and ZQH. If FZD wins this one he wins the tournament. If XX wins, then it's 1-1-1, and they go again (with a one set showdown)

A match between Gods, Both players performed extremely well.

Beating both Zhou Qihao and XX, Fan ZD won the Marvellous 12 of 2020,. With it, he got a ticket (one of the 5) to Teams Worlds in March and a check of One Million RMB, (roughly $150,000). Congratulations to him!

By far the best game of the year so far (which isnt hard as we are only 4 days in xD). XuXin surely had it on his racket but Fan prevailed again with sick shots in close moments. SICK GAME

Hoping this global virus scare stops before March. Table tennis standard and style have advanced so much since the Waldner/LGL days. The spin, speed, and angle are so much more powerful and drastic. Singles & doubles' Rallies are so spectacular. Being able to watch it ALL HERE is incredible. Greatest and deepest respect to the uploaders.

FZD, after losing in Diamond 2019 at Singapore, has sharpened and improved his game to an unprecedented level. If not out of form, I don't think anyone can go past him this year.

a good match. FZD now plays smarter. he knows better when to use power and when to withhold it and apply other techniques instead to return a ball, which makes the game more fun to watch. XX's backhand has improved a lot and this makes him even more difficult to deal with.

FZD, with his new/wonderful BH block, he'll be No. 1 for a loooong time. Might have to thank the loss to LYJ's perfect BH flick in T2 Diamond that forced him to develop/perfect this technique. He retaliated in Nov 2019 Austrian QF but it seems he's advanced even more here. Both know each other's game so well, only on-court performance can decide the difference. Happy and enjoy it so much. It is interesting how much both push after the serve. Especially FZD usually has great opening flicks but both are cautious of the big counter loops of the opponent and neither really wants to open the rally so we see often 3-4 pushes before somebody opens the rally with a topspin

Fan Zhendong just finished a match with another player and 30 minutes later, he played with Xu Xin. Obviously in game 2 and game 3, Fan was exhausted. After winning game 4, he was back again. Really Fantastic.

Xu Xin lost game 4 and this was the moment he steps down his inspiration and release the grip around Fan's neck . The youngster plays to win no matter hard or easy Xu Xin kind of regretted the lost set and his willpower was drained when he knew it is going to be by far harder match for him and the win will need luck or Fan to step down his game and Fan is just shaved of his nerves and turned beast mode .
