Everything in cycles. Honestly you have to make good movies to sustain popularity. We all know Ironman and Thor were not as high on the popularity list prior to the Marvel movie run.

@@scifiguy9000 she is a fairly new character from 2018. A Latverian citizen whose faith in Doom inspired him to rise up from his then depression and take Latveria back from invaders. In thanks he gave her cosmic powers and she became his personal bodyguard/henchmen

I guess Lyja was in the same place as the resurrected Frankie Raye, Doris, Julie Angel, Spionics, that girl daughter of a dragon lady and all the other exes of the superhero (except Crystal and Medusa, who as royals always had more important roles than being Johnny's girlfriend)

Personally I always thought Lyja would make good FF member and kinda hope they'll get back together. And no, Frankie Raye/Nova is not back. Frankie, alas, died back in #75 of 'Silver Surfer' v.3. A lookalike of her called Frances Hyatt has been infused with the Herald powers granted Nova and has appeared occasionally since; its yet to be clarified if Frances is a clone, a lookalike, or a fraternal twin of the deceased Frankie.

@James Stillwell good point james, we’ve had a lot of disappointments in the past and i can definitely not argue that reading a comic or book defeats filming. Our own imagination and the way we perceive and understand each character or passage, from our perspective and combine it with the writers vision will never surpass the satisfaction of viewing films brought up by novels or comics. Its an interesting discussion by the way. i guess i got carried away into craving what we’ve been missing. Wish we could experience more often the warm feeling of reading them and realizing it in the big screen while seeing others appreciate it and potentially encourage them to read. If we can get more of that, i think It will somehow cure that wound and fear of going to the Cinemas. Just a quick thought
