Actually a fair point haha, every other weapon feels like it has some inspiration from other franchises, the needler feels VERY original (well maybe a tiny bit like the Cerebral Bore in Turok).

Most of the Covenant weapons feel that way.

Too bad its get buried by the battle rifle, like every other interesting gun

@@t850terminator well actually when my friends got back into infinite we were shocked by how powerful the needler was, especially in husky raid. Basically guaranteed kills till you run out of ammo

@@atomixage true, but remember in the first game the only covenant weapons that were available were the plasma pistol, rifle, and needler (excluding fuel rod for custom edition) wasn’t a big assortment and out of all of them the needler was definitely the most original

@@seismicri9150 publishers see profit and push it. bonnie genuinely cared about halo to an extent, but she was really just a pawn for microsoft to push their crap all over it. microsoft has been dumpstering every franchise they own, from gears of war to minecraft. they've been fuckin over the halo devs since they bought the franchise; every entry bungie made was pretty much assembled in about a year or so as they had to keep redesigning everything so often on such short timespans.

@@douglasamaya7733the skewer is just a single shot slow sniper. Everyone uses it for sniping and it doesn’t reliably one shot vehicles other than like the wasp. It seems super weak against tanks and I had a warthog take 3 rounds and still didn’t instantly explode. It’s such a basic weapon. The SpLaser with its charge up and visible aiming laser has always made it a unique gun that can’t be used for quick reactions. It’s a dedicated anti vehicle weapon and needs to return to put tanks in their place and start thinking about cover lol
