What's not taken into consideration is the fact that some land is not suitable for crops for whatever reason too hilly, rocky, or wet as some examples but can support livestock and if not used for livestock would not produce anything.

Maybe Gates provided the Camera for the Interview. Apparently the Location was somehow provided by Gates anyway, so it makes sense to me. no reason to carry another camera there, if they can just share the file. And also, it is a bit easier to adjust your camera in a set Room with good Lighting, while Mark is making videos in various other locations.

I'm Brazilian and it's not entirely true that in the Amazon (north of the country) land is deforested for livestock farming. Deforestation is for the extraction of wood exported to first world countries. Brazil is gigantic and the largest agricultural production is in the south, southeast and central-west regions. Talking about the Amazon is fashionable and involves environmental activists who know nothing about Brazil.

I won't go on whether the substitute is healthy or not since this is new to me, though I wouldn't imagine a bunch of plant oils to be low on fat.

It's not meant to be better, as he said early in the video. The point was to transition into a more animal friendly lifestyle. Either you misunderstood this video or you genuinely deluded yourself into a mindset that you THOUGHT this was any different to a regular beef patty. While your first statement is correct that a singular plant does not contain all amino acids, most people do not just have one crop. For example, popular combination of rice and lentils will provide all the 9 essential amino acids, required by the body, hence the second statement is incorrect.

My cows eat the grass in my fields, which I don't eat. Tomorrow I am having steak from my steer that we share with our neighbors . They share their hogs with us. Cow farts? Come on now, millions of buffalo used to roam these lands, now those bovine are now replaced with cows. Plant a tree, eat whatever you want. I planted 12 and have a forest on the land too. Растительный белок не полноценный. В белке +- 20 аминокислот, но в растительном белке нет всех нужных аминокислот, в частности несколько незаменимых. Усвояемость животных белков 80-90% а растительных белков 40-60%. Так что пока учёные не научились прямо из куска мяса запускать рост клеток, животноводство не исчезнет.

Ну, вроде как, в видео и не сказано, чтобы это прям исчезло, можно хотя бы снизить это. Тем более не все пойдут на такое, а значит часть всё равно будет есть только мясо, другая перейдёт на растительное мясо, а третья группа будет комбинировать. Если коротко, то сейчас это не прям полноценная замена, а лишь уменьшение, которое вплоне неплохо идёт.

Pretty sure my last home made chilli sauce qualifies as tasting the sun. Just Ghost Pepper, Carolina Reaper, and a few shitaki mushrooms. splash of white balsamic, and this is the hottest sauce I've made to date.
