Oh good, I was just going to say this. Also, bees don't recognize a lot of exotic plants as food sources and won't go go them. I think most nurseries or stores should know what flowers attract pollinators. Another bonus of natives? They're used to the climate, so easier to grow. In case you're a lazy like me

Once you realize they usually dont want to sting you you calm down. I have a slightly more aggressive hive for one of mine currently and I wear a coat & veil while working them. My other hive is no big deal.

@Silly_101 keeping bees take a bit before you learn to trust yourself. If you’re scared and its a hot hive (aggressive) the odds of you getting stung go way up.

She is trying to save humanity. Our food production will about bottom out without bees. Right now the American bumblebee has declined by 89% in relative abundance and continues to decline toward extinction.

She is ruining American agriculture. Honey bees are not native in North America. By promoting them they are pushing out and diminishing the other, native bees and pollinators. All it will take is one disease to wipe out the majority of pollination. That would ruin agriculture and the natural pollination of plants. We should be working at regulating the number of honey bees and promoting native bees and pollinators.
