​@@user-kt4in9fr8k Dude.... go look up Taiwan's constitution, its official country name is Republic of China(ROC) which includes mainland and even Mongolia(which PRC doesn't claim), it even states that its illegal for Taiwan to go independent. The reason it call itself Taiwan we call them Taiwan is because since 1979, USA officially switch the recognition of ROC as the rightful China to PRC as the rightful China. Which is why the international community including the UN cease recognizing ROC as China. In the Olympics its called Chinese Taipei. You can also look up Taiwanese passport, its literally printed as China Passport, even their state airlines is called China air. Its easily to ride on the propaganda, but if you study history you'd know the separation was due to civil war. The Chinese people in Taiwan, including its founding fathers and party KMT were literally from China. Both countries officially recognize one China, but each think themselves the rightful one. Yes there are independence sentiments in the self governing island, but even after the pro independence party DPP came into power for almost 16 years, still has yet to change its constitution. You should know talks of independence is a façade, an ideological and identity political tool. Nothing in its official sense is it independence, its a De Facto.
