What a Legend!

When I tell people about F1 and Fernando Alonso, they usually don't understand how much this man means to me. I mean, he has been there for my whole existence. I started watching F1 at 4 in 2004 and was immediately in love with that "blue car driver with lightnings on his helmet". I'm now 21 and the feelings I get towards him are really special. I've never realised how much I liked him before he left F1. At the start of 2019 I was watching the races but wasn't really enjoying myself, like yeah sure I like other drivers but I figured out no one had such **this** place in my heart. Now that he's back in F1 I'm really enjoying every bit of action he delivers on a racetrack knowing how much I missed him in those two long years away. My heart only beats for him on every F1 weekend and I just wish he will achieve great things with Alpine in 2022.

I think we need to bow down to an all-time great. Sure, he doesn't have the F1 success of Lewis but what about all the wins and podiums he won? I think every single point that Nando has earned was deserved. He is superior driver to anyone in Formula 1. He has proved it in Le Mans, he has proved it in Rally Dakar. This guy is pushing his physical limits. In my opinion, if he drives Bottas' Merc, even though it's slower than Ham's one (we all know that), he'll be a WC.

What a great performance by Alonso! I was really happy that he got on the podium! He is one of the oldest pilots, and yet he continues to amaze with his wisdom and experience!

Alonso out there racing and running other driver´s race simmulations on his head. The hunger. The commitment after 7 years. The racecraft. You might not like him as a person, but as a driver I dont think he has an equal.

I think Alonso will appreciate the fight Ocon put up after watching a replay. The radio literally 30s after he asked him to defend like a Lion saying Perez passed him doesn't do it justice, He really went for it to help Alonso

After Alonso retired I even stopped following F1 closely, so that meant a world to me. Been watching the race replay already 3 times.😁
