It's very hard to know who's to blame when you're inside the car. His situation of oversteering and hitting a driver on the outside is quite rare, surprisingly. On the other hand it's quite often they'll own up to it and accept blame when they watch the replay.

It's actually nigh on impossible for the driver to see front wing damage from the cockpit. At best, they can _feel_ there's something wrong, but at that point the level of damage is usually not really manageable, anymore. There are exceptions to this, however. I mean, we've seen Red Bulls going half a race distance with half the front wing missing with no detrimental effects to the car's balance.

I've spent enough hours on simulators to know that you can't see the front wing damaged from cockpit view... I was just joking.

Oh god how many times does this need to be explained. Vettel was off track and could have stayed there to wait for marshalls' permission. He went on track and fucked Stroll over. Stroll was on the track already and was in a situation of ''damned if you do, damned if you don't'' so he had to move but he shouldn't have moved. And it was Vettel who put him there. Stroll deserved the penalty just because he was unlucky enough to have Gasly there and force him to take evading actions, but he should not be criticized at all for what he did. Hulk is a good driver, better than ocon atm, in my opinion. So to choose ocon over hulk for 2 years only, something else is going on. That's why probably they offered hulk only 1 year deal (supposedly then)
