As an Iowa State fan, I don’t think Oklahoma gets the respect they deserve. I wholeheartedly believe that Oklahoma would’ve crushed Ohio State or Notre Dame by 30.

Sooner fan. Congrats to Iowa St. They brought it to the Ducks and had a great season and gave OU a tough matchup. Big 12 showed they weren't messing around with the bowl sweep. Can't wait for next season.

The word from some of the donors is that the only jobs he would be willing to leave Iowa state for are Ohio state or notre dame. It doesn’t look like we are in danger of those teams needing a coach anytime soon.

I don’t think we’ll ever have that type of power with cristobal as coach, he’s trying to build a different scheme as he is an oline guy. We need to be better in the trenches. And this year we the youngest team in the country, going to a lot more exciting next year. If we can get a good qb, whether it’s shough, Brown, or the 5 star freshman Ty Thompson, we will be a top 10 team again.

As great a recruiter that Christobal is, I’m starting to think he is not a good team coach. Terrible preparation, motivation, play calling. That QB shuffling was terrible.

Oregon isn’t built like that anymore and it’s a good thing too. About a decade ago Oregon looked good against other pac 12 teams but when they had to play the big guys they couldn’t hang because they just weren’t physical enough. Now with what Mario cristabol is bringing we can actually play against the upper sec teams and have a legit shot. For example the auburn game last year that we should have won. Our new playing style I believe gives us a better shot against the Ohio states, clemsons, etc. we just need to be patient as this is the youngest team in division 1 fbs football.

Will they certainly aren’t the best they have had plenty of chips and mad the playoffs as well as making it to the championship which is more then the big 12 has done recently (overall the big 12 is better)

@@tcblitzball5620 I have similar feelings towards the big 10. But the Pac 12 would not budge on their position for a long time because they consider themselves smarter than all the other conferences. Even after the big 10 started playing, the Pac 12 didn’t budge for a few more weeks because of how pompous they are. They needed to be left out of bowl season and not get any of the money they almost cost the rest of college football.

@@dannyfootball3608 as a pac 12/Oregon, I agree that the conference commissioner has been dogshit for years, but you can’t just leave a conference out of the bowls. Then there’d be no point of playing at all.

@@tcblitzball5620 I see your point. My wife is a ducks fan from Oregon. She told me the same thing. Maybe not all bowls but definitely not deserving of a NY6 bowl. There were other P5 teams that played a whole season. Even Coastal Carolina, Liberty, or BYU deserved a NY6 over Oregon.
