Buck mentions Reach. He was on Reach fighting when the Covenant glassed the planet and he has PTSD from it. The second to last cutscene feels so eerie. The Covenant at Earth destroying a city killing millions just because they want to dig up a portal to a place they aren’t allowed to use. Sadie mentions Kinsler flooding the data center with argon freezing everything. If you remember when you visit the data center there is a section that is frozen. Kinsler killed her dad and Rookie can find his body in the data center. Vergil tells Rookie he can’t go in the area because it’s a crime scene. The corrupt cop talking to Kinsler is the cop Rookie finds in the data center that Vergil warns him about. You can hear Sadie trying to contact her dad in the data center. And Vergil is comforting Sadie by telling her ONI is coming to get him out of the city he is talking about Dare. And as we know Vergil did get saved. Sadie was later hired by ONI to be Vergil’s partner and handler since she knows him. So their story ends rather happily.

Thanks for another awesome Halo let's play Juliette. I've loved watching your journey through ODST,and reacting to Sadie's story was a great way to finish things off. You mentioned that you've had thoughts of voicing a game character but don't know if you could invoke the emotion needed. Juliette, that's crazy talk. There’s an extra scene after the epilogue if you completed ODST on legendary. The scene is shows what was underneath the Superintendent Database and there are so many engineers all around and then the Prophet of Truth shows up and gives a smile as they found what they were looking for which is portal to The Ark. 😊.

If you get alll the audio logs. Because you are aware of the cops and their conduct, the cop in the substation will actually make it all the way to the area with dare and an alternate event will occur. Look up halo 3 odst cop, this little twist of the rookie knowing whats up and what happens as a result was such a twist never seen in a halo game before. I highly reccomend seeing it As for virgil, since the rookie also now aware of what the engineers are doing, the meeting with virgil changes quite a bit. To the point rookie is actually fully aware of what is going on and even stops dare from something. Its such a shock too, i highly reccomend looking up meeting virgil with all audio logs. The alternate cutscene is so worth it

And no that ain’t the halo 2 bridge, in halo 2 you drive the scorpion on a bridge this time you drive on the same city but on a highway Btw the sadie story, I don’t think you could find all those 29 audio logs in one play through. But after the player finds all 29 audio logs in the city at night you get a different ending (sort of) on the mission data hive, where you see sadie’s dad dead on the floor. If you were aware of this you’d probably try to kill that cop that was with you at some point Next halo game in line is reach, also buck said “it’s like reach all over again” because he was in reach and survived after. Also you get to drive, is mandatory not to allow the npcs drive

I hope in the future, we will get the original main menu and credits in the old Halo games back as it’s feels incomplete as once we get to the end, we go back to the menu. But we will see because I have all the Halo games on the Xbox 360 with the discs. And I will always go back to them then MCC. 🥳

Also the fate of the odst squad its unknow on the games besides buck as you see him again in halo 5, but to that point there is a book or comic or both that follows up the story of the odst squad after the game. And buck has a cameo in reach but its quite randomise when it happens

Maybe you can slip in the reaction to alternate ending of ODST for getting all the terminals, in the beginning of your Reach playthrough.

Hey there, Juliette.💜 Another fantastic play through, and great game, done.💖 It would be a blast to voice a character in a video game, but I would never be equal to the talent that was present here. It would still be great fun though. As to my order for these Halo games so far - My list would be as you said - 3, ODST, 2, and 1. 3 wins because I liked the action, it looked to be a really good shooter, and very fun. ODST seemed to be wider, more open, and not quite as challenging, fro a shooter standpoint. But, the ODST story was better, owing to a better cast, for the main story, and the absolutely great Sadie's tale. 2, for the improvement and greater variation over 1.🤔 My only wish would have been if ODST had provided more open access to the audio portions via more breaks in the action, with ample times to do a little search, between the gun play, more artistically woven into the main game, because, even though some said it was better to listen post game - to keep from confusing the tales - they provided interesting background that could have added a next level interest and information to the game play, overall. But the after game was still alright, because the story remains very interesting. Allowing the discovery of the Whole story, simultaneously, could have made this my favorite.😍 Don't listen to the very nonconstructive - if you had done.... comments get you down. Another great game. You fought the good fight through, to the end, and that is all that truly counts. I have never been a big fan of - oh yeah to hear parts 2, 3, 4, and beyond of the real story you have to replay on the remaining difficulty levels - coercive gaming. Just not a fan. 35:08 jonhson, being part of the spartan 1 pogram that failed so bad tha the marines choosen for that alot of them got messed up by the argurmentations, while johnson as badass he is, got away wihout any issue and even somewhat got by accident from that, inmunity to the flood, as he was really exposed to the flood and he did got attacked by a flood infection form during first contact to it during the ambush, but the infection form it couldn't do nothing on johnson and thats how it survived the flood and eventually escaped the ring with some marines xd

Fun fact ODST especially Sadie's story uses Dante's Inferno as a base for the story. The characters she meets represent each of the deadly sins. Kebab guy = gluttony, Casino Lady = greed, ex-cop = wrath, etc. And you'll get betrayed in the 9th level by another cop discovering the final audio log and Sadie's dad's corpse, and it's frozen over.

21:10 this area, there are enough weapons for evryone for the coop mode but also to upgrade firepower for veronica and buck to have both of them defend virgil as you gun down any enemy, with the snipers on the top floor, with two turrets xd wich on lengendary its a must to upgrade their firepower to assist you as that tight space room its a death setence to stay in when a brute chieftan comes around to yeet you like you were a golf ball xd And the brutes with brute shots and fuel rods would adsoluty desintegrate you in seconds xD

Congratulations on finishing ODST! Hard to say where it falls on my ranking of Halo games but it is high on the list, mostly due to the characters, the score and the audiologs/Sadie's Story If you want to know what happens to Alpha Nine (the ODST squad), Sadie and Vergil/the Engineer, some of them appear in a few of the games you've yet to play (won't say who or when) and there's two Halo novels, "New Blood" and "Bad Blood", that's specifically about these characters. If you do read them I'd hold off on "Bad Blood" until after Halo 5 as that has major spoilers for the game.

1:11:03 when you get to play reach, your spartan you play as uses the same customization you use for multiplayer, so you can do a bit of customization for your licking, as bungie maked it so *you* are the spartan to imverse yourself, that you playing your part (wich takes more energy at the end of the story), most of the customization items are locked on the catalog on the noble tab that you can unlock for spartan points, wich are obtain by completing challenges for both single player and multiplayer, you might had gotten some on your playthtroughs of the 4 games you played so far, if you want you could do some of them on your own time to have more custom options, as for default you limited to color of the armor, from heavy to light armor looks and voice (wich would be the gender of the spartan) xD

Halo Reach would be next, it takes place before Halo CE.

57:43 considering this is still taking place with chief fighting on delta halo, humanity knowing how much they can't defend their planets from the overhelming numbers of the covenant and that they found their very last planet, their homeworld, they are really corneded and well, just delaying the inveniatable if the prophfet of truth didn't screw things up with that cause the civil war on its ranks, it was true they all were gonna die, it was pure luck they didn't and won the war considering the facts that lead to the turn around.

Hey juliette! Congrats on finishing ODST. looks like reach is up next. If you go to "options and career" then "catalog" and then tab over to series 1 "noble". These are all halo reach unlocks. You'll need to purchase all 10 on a page to unlock the next page. After that customize your spartan in "options and career" then "customization"

And also, the cutscene where you first the alien/Engineer. If you collected all 30 audio logs, it is actually Dare pointing the gun instead of The Rookie. Then, he gets Dare to stand down and The Rookie whistle the Virgil chime to let the alien know that they are friendly. And the main theme of ODST plays in the cutscene as well. It’s a huge difference if you explored the city and find all of the logs. ❤️🥳😊

Juliette, this is a tip for Halo: Reach. The multiplayer character for Reach actually is a customizable spartan for your spartan in the main campaign. So, if you want to, you can change your armor and change gender. Play as a male or female. 😊❤️. I wanted to tell you that so that way you can be ready for Reach. 😊❤️

Lovely playthrough Juliette; though sadly the last appearance of New Mombasa (excluding Multiplayer maps) in Halo. I think I'd actually agree with your ranking of the Halo games for the most part, though I might personally put Halo: CE above Halo 2, but I'm not sure. Also, Sadie's story is partly based off the 14th-century epic poem Inferno that describes it's author being guided through the nine circles of Hell by the Roman poet, Virgil. Similarly, Sadie's Story is divided into nine circles matching those from Inferno: Limbo, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, Heresy, Violence, Fraud, and Treachery.

Before you play Halo: Reach, could you react to “Halo: The Fall of Reach”? It explains some of Master Chief’s backstory and the Spartan II program.

I really wish you included a reaction to a video on YT where that cop in the “Data Hive” mission where you collected all 29 audio logs. Because in that mission, the cop does not die by buggers. Instead, he comes with you on the sublevel where it was all white and frozen. Well, that sublevel is actually the level where Sadie’s father freezes to death. 😢. And the cop leads you to a locked door and where you follow him and he was assigned by Kinsler to see if Sadie’s dad is eliminated. And Virgil warns you. And the cop actually attacks The Rookie. 😠. That’s a detail that you missed Juliette. Thought I wanted to tell you that since you didn’t know that. 😊

for the last audiolog you should have used a different video since is connected with a mission where you play as Rookie. When you enter the ONI facility you meet an MND Police Officer and depending how many Audiologs you collected... if you collected all previous 29 Audiologs he will act a little differently and lead you to the last one.

7:58 well, quite hard for buck as a npc to do that *when there is a shit load of npcs* to shoot xD, he can't focus on evryone at once, halo's ia ain't that advance to make the gunner have more quick thinking on picking targets, its best to assist buck on running over enemys in the warthdog and those that survive or move away being finished off by buck, works well on instantly killing brutes that have shields on mombada streets with a mongose xd Also ramming ghosts with the warthdog its effective both of damaging it and to knock it upside down xd

I’m still sad that you can’t see the credits in MCC. Because in this game, at the very end of the credits in the original Halo 3: ODST on the Xbox 360.
