Alex wasnt great on jeopardy when it started. It took him some time to get better at it. And who cares who hosts it anyway? As alex has said many times, the show isnt about him or anyone else other than the contestants and the questions. Whoever reads them kinda doesnt really matter as long as they are a good speaker. She is. It was many many years before alex even started to get a reputation as being a great speaker on the show. She literally just got here. @gnirolnamlerf593
@gnirolnamlerf593 2 роки тому
Like me, who immediately thinks "Titanic" when a ship from the 19-Teens is mentioned (thank goodness the category wasn't about some famous teenager in WWI), he probably then noted "1915," three years after that ship went down and the word "last". The Titanic presumably had only one captain. So I came up with the Lusitania too. The rulings by the judges on spellings sometimes confuse me. Why did the acceptance of Troy's answer require any explanation? I can remember some champion decades ago being given credit for saying in the regular game "What is Ada?" instead of "What is Aïda?" in reference to Verdi's opera. If he was given credit for that, because clearly he didn't mean "Otello," why would there be any question about Troy's spelling when he clearly didn't mean the Queen Mary?

Since Brad seems to have lost his edge, Matt, Ken and James should play a tournament against each other!
@NickTheEnlightened
@NickTheEnlightened 2 роки тому
It's not gonna happen. Ken's not eligible to play anymore due to him becoming part of the Jeopardy staff as well as co-host, and James is likely out of the picture too due to his friendship with Ken as well as some less than flattering digs he's made towards Sony (which while I agree with most of them, still are damaging to him as far as wanting to return on a game show produced by them).

As he has become more comfortable and much richer (he's going to be much richer than before, regardless of what happens from now on an that's been true for quite a few weeks) Matt has become more and more personable, less stiff and more, "Oh, gosh, is this really happening" when he wins. I feel sorry for his opponents, but have to admit I am on his side to keep going and going.

1912= Titanic; 1915= Lusitania; 1918= Carpathia. Elementary, my dear Watson, especially since all three of those have popped up on the show countless times. What Robert said already. Plus I can't imagine James is eligible to play anymore due to his friendship with Ken and some remarks he's made about Sony, and I'm sure he also isn't exactly in the mood to play anymore either. Thing is, the GOAT tournament was hailed as the tournament where the 3 contestants on it were vying for the title of the "Greatest of All Time", or in other words the best man to have EVER played on Jeopardy in its long history! With such a big opportunity like that, why in the world would you want to play anymore when there's basically nothing left to show for it? Ken, James, and Brad all know that there's no higher stakes they can possibly reach for, and so it's understandable if none of them want to compete again.
