Hes not saying that free will doesnt exist. They have power because we gave it to them, willingly or unwillingly. This is the "wake up and lets do something about it" message. Man..why is it, every time Tom's song goes from the mellow-ish verse, into a heavy part where he just starts spitting so intensely, my arms get goosebumps and the hair stands up. Tom's evolving so quickly.. 2022 he has just been on a totally elevated level.

Don't think he's saying not to have kids. He's saying don't allow them to be indoctrinated into the system. Be an active parent and don't let the state be their parents. We won't be the ones to break the system, our kids will if WE raise them to be independent thinkers with good morals and values.

I hope more people will discover Tom with this song, his messages need to be spread more 😅

Goverment here pushed out marriage, having kids etc in the 80s. Make your own choises, but do not think having no kids is the smartest choise. When 40/50 you regret when looking back on it. Research it, you will find it out.having 4/5 kids or nu kids including myself... be balanced in life is my life advice. I know a lot gave same regret. Learn from those who already made that choise. Lucky my wife had a kid already that was my most precious gift.

I really do love to watch these reaction videos. It shows so many different sides of the same story... It is something we all need to be looking at so we can finally see how much more alike we are than different. This is the first time in several years I have felt connected to anything or anyone... I don't like the "tribal" ideology... I believe it does more harm than good because it is done out of a heart of "me against you". But my first thought was I feel like I have finally found my "tribe"... But really, it would be better said as this... I finally feel like I have found a community of people I can relate to and fit in with. That gives me Hope. Anyway... You made a comment about free will possibly being an illusion. I am no longer a religious person... However Jesus did say some pretty smart stuff that anyone can gain Wisdom from... “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. We have been taught this means we should be religiously narrow-minded in believing "our" way is "the only way" to salvation... That's not what it means at all. Even the wording is a tell... There are many who "go in" by the wide gate, but there are few who FIND the narrow gate... Why? Because they aren't looking for it. You can't find something you aren't even looking for, right? It means the way to destruction is full of choices, but the way to Life has very few. Look at society today... We can choose anything, any time, anywhere... And what do we do? We choose EVERYTHING. We overstimulate ourselves in every way, every day, and PAY someone else to be able to do it. 😳 By overstimulating ourselves we let our impulses loose, like a caged animal, and consume anything our impulses say they want. Schooling wasn't just to ensure their bonuses and such... It was to create a WORLD of "consumers". Walking ATM's that will spit out money any time, anywhere, for anything THEY tell us we want or need. But narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to Life... There are not a lot of choices when it comes to actual living. Just like a car needs gasoline in the tank and oil in the motor to run, we need food and water to make us run correctly. The correct kind of food and water. Our bodies were designed to run on certain things... Not to be filled with hormones and additives that mess with our physiology and make us feel full while depriving us of the actual nutrients we need... Causing us to crave and eat more than we actually need. That is all fast food and frozen dinners are, you know. All these choices we have... Not only for food, but EVERYTHING... Cars... Clothing... Shoes... Make up... Colleges... Careers... Religions... Political sides... Sexual preferences... Sexual identity... Physical identity... All because we have been convinced we "need" these things... By marketing and advertising... Do you want to know what we REALLY need to survive, thrive, and be happy? The proper food. Water. Clothing. Shelter. Proper social interactions with other human beings. The way is narrow because the choices are few when you are looking for the right things. So is free will an illusion? (Sorry if that's not exactly how you worded it) No. It's real. The idea of choice isn't made up... It's been grossly taken advantage of and used against us for the sole purpose of getting in our wallets. 👍 We don't need money to survive. This planet provides everything we need for free. And the government has stepped in with corporate America, taken it all over as if they own it or something, and sold it BACK to us... Again... As if they OWN this country and the people it contains... I'm telling you... Slavery never ended in America. It was repackaged as a job to make it look pretty... Relabeled as a career, to make it sound fair... Then returned to us for a price just for participating in a System we have never approved of or had a choice in. So of course they don't want you to believe in free will. Then you will believe you have no choices, except the ones they offer to you. 🤷‍♀️

The standardized testing is still the same way, if the school does better than last year's score or the baseline for the state (I'm not sure what the exact thing that determines the funding but this is what I remember from my teachers) they get more funding from the state/federal government
