Tom and Brandon have battled addiction together and beat addiction everyday together. They are best friends till the end. Love these 2 together. And yes, Tom and Nova are way more than rappers. They are true artists. #HOG4EVER #BrandonHart #NovaRockafeller

One of the best reactions to one of my favorites songs I’ve seen my friend. I agree whenever you come off of whatever you have been using to dampen all your thoughts and feelings you feel like an open nerve and have to relearn your emotions and how to deal with them and you question your faith constantly. This song captures that better than any other I’ve found. I really appreciate you sharing your journey. Brandon is Toms best friend and they basically saved each other. That was a beautiful reaction. I’m happy that you made it out of your addiction! ❤ Brandon Hart is one of Tom’s best friends for many years and is included in HOG. They were alcoholics together. They would go to the bar and say to each other “see you tomorrow” before they started drinking because they knew they would both get to drunk to remember the night. They both have a tattoo of “see you tomorrow”. Tom says without Brandon and Nova he wouldn’t be here anymore. Some Brandon Hart music to check out, Wave (there’s a surprise in the video), Dad Bod (this is awesome for a good laugh), Space Trash (features Tom), Bigger Than (great to share with kids..has his little girl at the end of the video), Stayed Here (about the od or suicide of a friend), Opener, Dealing With or Neighbors I know that’s a lot and I didn’t even touch on Nova! The Tom MacDonald/HOG rabbit hole has so many twists and turns and lead to whole other rabbit holes. Beautiful understanding of how God guides you throughout life. Far too often, people expect immediate resolution from a prayer and lose faith when it isn't answered right then. Bot you, Tom, and many others are proof that he is listening and helps you fight through your struggle. This makes you a stronger and petter person.

Gday brother i did 22 years in the Aussie Army. I did 3 deployments into Iraq and Afghanistan. Mate i struggle everyday , every fuc#en day. Feels like my breath is just stuck in my throat. I'm sorry this one was so hard for you to hear, but I knew you would connect with this song. Even for those of us that do not suffer from addictions, much of what is said is applicable to those of us who experience depression as a regular part of our lives. It is comforting to know that we are not alone in our darkness-that there are others who have come out the other side. Keep exploring Tom's music and you will find positive affirmations as well.

I am 37 years sober . It can be done. I still have my moments . I know this is a rough one . God doesn't always give the answers we want , he gives us the answers we need. It won't be on our time , it's on his time. Check out Brandon's and Novas music too. Brandon has an extensive catalog. If you need something funny to lift you up check out Buttholes by Tom or Dad Bod by Brandon. Nova and Tom also had a band project called GFBF before Tom went viral . These are the songs, Rejects, Phonecalls, I'm Not Well , Foul Mouth Wasted, Other side, Pillz. I think you will like those. Just know you are never alone, absolutely one of the best reactions I've seen to this and I've seen hundreds. Keep up the great work and you will be at 1000 subs in no time. Much love❤

Thank you for sharing your story as it will help others as Tom's music does. I am thankful that you worked through your addiction to find happiness on the other side. My dad was almost 33 years sober before he passed away and know all that he went through before, during and after. I also know how his journey affected those around him. The lyric about nobody missing you literally brings tears to my eyes each time I hear it because a lot of people have that thought even if it is not due to an addiction. I believe that you would truly appreciate an artist named NF (Nate Feuerstein). He went through a lot of trauma as a child and his albums are his journey of growing, healing and finding hope. He is very talented and has a way of connecting all his music together which is unique. I discovered him while watching reactions to Tom as one popped up for his song Mansion and have since become a huge fan and even went to one of his concerts this past year. I am looking forward to more of your reactions as they are coming from an honest and real place.

It is very hard to finally have to face the pain that you've been hiding behind the addiction. I still get chills every time i hear this hook, can anybody hear me, is any body there? I have an illness that was behind the addiction. The illness is still there and i still ask those questions, We need to hold each up. I like the ship in a bottle scheme as well.Kudos to .Nova for the cross images in Tom's glasses. If youd like to get away from the feels, you might want to check out a flex song like No Response, or Dont Look Down next. #HOG ❤

@@bornGOAT_TV truthfully, this man has helped me get and STAY sober… I’ve listened to a number of interviews he’s done where he’s spoken of his own experiences and struggles and while alcohol was never my thing, let’s just say tiny white rocks were and the “devils lettuce”. I take courage and hope and comfort from his brutal honesty addressing the disease that is addiction. It gives me strength every day and I know that if he can rise above, so can I. I appreciate you sharing parts of your story with us, and am sending you much love and virtual hugs ❤️

My son was in jail for 8 months due to alcohol. He was released and 6 days later his stepfather and I had to call the police because he was so drunk and uncontrollable. He served his jail time and has been in inpatient treatment for 4 months. He relapsed because he was “celebrating” being released, job interview the next day, etc. It has been difficult but he should be out next month and will be going into sober living for 3 months. His father always hated him and put him down. His stepfather loves him and stays in contact with him. It has been difficult but I remind him every day that I’m his biggest fan! Love you dearly my son.

Thank you for sharing this. As someone who is an alcoholic thank you for sticking with him. After I got arrested I went and put myself in a mental health hospital to go through detox. Hardest part of it all was telling my mom that I may stay there for awhile. Please do not give up on him

Addiction is extremely hard and not just on the addict. I lost my oldest daughter to addiction on February 22, 2023. 😭

When you keep these things in secret, you hide from the angels that are sent and ready to help you.
