Favorite legend? Reshiram, hands down. My first game was Black 1 in 2016 and I bought the game with no knowledge of how to play it. I fell in love with the story and was honestly worried about N getting control of Zekrom, who I naively thought was what I would get in Black. When I saw that black dragon roaring and basically taunting me and my ragtag team of Samurott, Zebstrika, Darmanitan, Unfezant, Cofagrigus, and Scolipede, I felt like I was going up against a monster. When I realized why I had to beat N, the thing that lingered in my mind was what if I lose to N and Zekrom? Would all my pokemon be lost? That and N and everyone else kept telling me that I too would be in control of a legendary, but I knew of only Zekrom and had not heard of the Swords of Justice or the genies, so the pressure kept rising. I was extremely worried when I got to the elite 4 and had to beat them just to get to N. That shot of the castle rising from nowhere will forever be in my head. I was at my lowest when time after time my team would barely make it out alive against the ever-strengthening grunts and the scary elite 4, I was alone in a way: nobody else played pokemon and I felt I knew that Zekrom was going to kill me. I finally get to N's room and watch in horror as Zekrom burst through that wall. His roar is probably the scariest one in gen 5, even to this day in modern times. I was about to be struck by a lightning bolt from this evil dragon. Then, a light shimmered. Popping out of my bag was that little white rock that I had not paid any mind, and what came out of it was the most beautiful dragon I'd ever seen. Reshiram. Those big blue eyes, flowing white hair, elongated light wings, and humongous flaring tail. Then it shrieked to the sky. I won't lie, I thought Reshiram's yell in gen 5 was a choir singing. It was in front of me all along in the main menu and I never thought of this beast being mine. I was so wrong. N told me to catch this dragon, and I was extremely hesitant, this dragon stared at me with it's back to N and Zekrom looming behind it. I did not hesitate to try to speak to it, then it shrieked, then a battle. I didn't know what type Reshiram was other than Dragon, until it used Fusion Flare and crit killed my Cofagrigus. I instantly send my Samurott in to try to Surf it down while the beast used Dragon Breath for what felt like ages. I finally catch the dragon, then in horror I know what will happen next. N heals me, then me and this new dragon I had just gone to war against is up against a living breathing lightning cloud. Zekrom comes out with a roar, and Reshiram shrieks in. I am terrified as I never fought Zekrom before. I switch Reshiram out as I think that Zekrom would go into a Dragon attack, and I lead with Darmanitan hoping to use Bulldoze to weaken it (yes i was stupid and didn't know Sheer Force removed the speed debuff) only for this black as night monster to use Fusion Bolt and oneshot my Darmanitan. I switch back into Reshiram knowing the rest of my team is going to be walloped by Zekrom, and Reshiram was the only one strong enough to take it on. I use Extrasensory to test to see which of us was faster, and Reshiram flinches Zekrom. Immediately I knew Reshiram was marginally faster, and defeated Zekrom with Dragon Breath. Me and Reshiram alone would beat N with Reshiram living on 1 hp by the end of it. Then, Ghetsis came. The mastermind himself. Not gonna lie, I couldn't beat him, no matter how many times I tried. So I trained, but I was not afraid. Ghetsis did not scare me as much as Zekrom did, and Zekrom was defeated. It would be a while before the rematch, so I got to know my Reshiram better. Named it Heavenfire, it was naive, liked to thrash about, and had Dragon Pulse, Extrasensory, Slash, and Fusion Flare when I got done training. After defeating Ghetsis and finding my first Kyurem, Subzero, I knew that me and my Reshiram had more to do than just defeat Alder and become champion. It is 2022 now, I bought Black 2 two years ago and caught Zekrom, Hellstorm, and my second Kyurem, Zero. I had refrained from using my Reshiram via trading it to my Black 2 and waited right to the end to have it Blue Flare Ghetsis' Black Kyurem into oblivion. Black 2 is where Reshiram currently resides, as I haven't played Black 1 in ages. Of all my Pokémon, even now with 11 games and soon to be 12 when Scarlet releases, even after getting 160 shiny pokemon across all my games, even after bonding with every starter and legendary across them all, my original Black Reshiram will always be my partner. No legendary gave me more hope or felt happier as a trainer than Reshiram. The closest one after that was my Platinum Giratina, Mausoleum. After conquering Platinum with my Infernape and catching Dialga and Palkia, and the slew of legends that game held, I sent Giratina to my SoulSilver to help me. Even if my Giratina was only 52 when I sent it, SoulSilver was hard as hell to beat, even with the help of my Typhlosion and Lugia. I came to appreciate Giratina after seeing this behemoth that is the equivalent to the embodiment of evil, playing games and acting adorable. So my choices are either Reshiram for giving me hope, or Giratina for memories.

My favorite legendary is Mespirit. No I won’t elaborate further and Tobin is better than me

I really love race videos like these, I've been on a kick with them recently haha. My favorite legendary is Regigigas. I just like the lore of his awakening and whatever Pokemon movie it is where he stops the glacier from destroying the land was one of the coolest things I remember seeing as a kid.

Reshiram is my favorite legendary. It's a dragon, vaguely looks like a fox, has a bunch of swoopy and fluffy bits, fire type is pretty cool, and supposedly it represents truth and the concept of yang, which is super cool. The shiny is underwhelming, but otherwise it's pretty dang cool!

My favorite legendary is Kyurem. I love the idea of the gen 5 legendary literally getting ripped apart by the brothers fighting and Kyurem getting to absorb one of the others to get part of its original power back.

My fave legend is regigigas... i love him, his ability goes so well with the fact that he is a grumpy dad who just woke up from a nap and needs a few minutes to wake up and start the day. i know he isn't the strongest to use in a game or competitively but his design, lore, and being the dad of all regies makes me love him

FAVORITE LEGENDARY: It, ok so a lot of them are beautiful, but my favorite is the one and only Beast of the Sea, Lugia. The Movie 2000 is when I first saw the majestic creature and heard its melodic song. It has held a place in my heart since childhood.

Giratina definitely! Platinum wasn't my first Pokémon game but Giratina's whole backstory as the banished third of Arceus and the whole Distortion World just takes them to a whole new level and that's not even touching Legends Arceus and it's story there. Personally can't beat it.

My personal favorite official legendary is yevtal due to its design and part in trio but if we are talking mythical or ub it would be Marshadow due to its size yet strength and ub would be naganadel due to its design typing

If you haven't tried it, Pokémon Snakewood is a lot of fun. It's a fan made game that is set like 5 years after Ruby and Saphire and there is a zombie apocalypse that you have to fight through. It's weird but a ton of fun.

I love Rayquaza for it's design. It's shiny is just- Perfection. But Xerneas? Oh, it stole my heart. Sweeping through players in pokemon showdown. It's design and shiny is beautiful too.

My favorite legendary is Latias! I adore it's design and personality in the anime. It also can feel people's emotions and communicate telepathically so it just sounds like a perfect best friend pokemon. Also it's shiny is my favorite color.

My favorite legendary and overall pokemon is Lugia. Such a magnificent pokemon and I'll always remember watching the movie 2000 and how beautiful it was. The song was amazing and it just made me love Lugia forever!

My favorite legendary is Shaymin! For the record, I see mystics as a subset of legendaries. She was introduced at the absolute height of my still massive Sonic fixation, and she’s been important to me ever since.

I think my fav is cosmog, I love solgaleo and lunala, and my first game was moon, so having an adorable little pokemon that evolves into my fav legends is for sure a way to determine my fav ledgend

My favorite legendary from Gen1 is Articuno, Gen2 is Raikou, Gen3 is suprise suprise Raquaza, gen4 Dialga, gen5 Reshiram, gen6 the darkness bird Yveltal, gen7 did not care for and gen8 is Urshifu water form.

Finally. I've been dying to talk about my favorite... My favorite legendary is Giratina on top of being my favorite pokemon in general! I was playing XY even into 2015 (I've got like 900 hours at this point) and I'd do so much stuff, including competitive. One day I was traded a Giratina when I barely knew anything about it and I took it to doubles... I'd just run EQ + Origin Giratina and it went really well, it would take most hits...it grew attached to me. Then i started playing uh VERY LEGALLY the games I didnt own and I finally got to play Platinum and i fell in love. I found my favorite character (peep the profile pic), my favorite game, my favorite region, my favorite themes and even my favorite area (I love the distortion world..) ... Giratina brought me happiness. Bonus, with the old event server thingie, I got to get me a shiny Giratina even back in Black, my first game, so I simply always had a Giratina with me. It's my little buddy! Now I simply always get one with me, whether by transferring or catching it in game. Currently waiting for Go to give us Origin raids to get that one shiny, I only have Altered. Sorry, I'm passionate about my baby. :3

Giratina origin form. 4th gen is my favorite and the distortion world in platinum was awesome as a kid. Plus he just looks epic and ghost/dragon is a very cool typing.

*Technically* my favourite legendary is Giratina. I was always astounded by him in Platinum and the whole story around him. BUT, if we can could Mythicals, it has to be Victini. Playing Pokémon Black and getting the gift Victini sold me on the lil flying fella and I never got him off my team ♥
