@@lordcattonia2417 No plasma is ionized gas. AKA electricity and compressed air. They used propane a FUEL for their lightsaber. Plasma cutters usually get up to a good 40,000 F or more.

Sorry to break the illusion to you but all the groups were messing around for the most parts. They did it for fun and for the content. I mean do you think that anyone would use seriously roman candle to break this box for example? Point was to use myriad wanky methods while step by step increasing destructive power to see what it takes to actualy break the box. Even the guys using power tools were just using them for a bit every here and there. This more about showboating and less about effeciency, otherwise everyone would pick most destructive method and stuck with it (which would not be anywhere close to entertaining as this was, which is the point) Also you consider power tools cheating but plasma cutter and hydraulics not?

@@iglidor I'm well aware of the theatrical show behind all 3 but hacksmith made/adapted/altered the things they used and those things were not intended for that type of use, they did build up and we all know they could have done it earlier with most the tools they used but didn't on purpose, plus all 3 groups have access to normal power tools it wasn't anything more than a pointless give up, Dustin's team do that type of challenge alot, so the weak effort of using flimsy wood stuff was good build up and fun reason the helicopter disappointed me because they could have put down concrete bricks or anything hard to make it more dramatic instead it went plop and was meh, but they carried on trying got it open the trent way, the other guys did blender goes burrrr it's like they didn't try they just planned on power tools from the start it was 🙄👍
