The "grumpy" fish from Thailand is a "stone fish". We have plenty of them in Australia. They actually have venomous spikes on their back. Nasty fish.

The catfish appears to be a pleco which is a pretty common fish. You can get them at fish stores for your tank they are good at keeping algae down. But can become invasive if released because they can’t live out of the water for a while. And the grumpy looking fish looks like some kind of stone fish. They camouflage as stones in the water and catch fish as they swim by.

Yeah a Pleco is known to eat rotting wood on the lake bottoms, algae, and plant matter. Perfect cleaner for in a fish tank.

Wow, the oceans are a universe full of Pokémon! ❤ But when a sea creature's eyes appear bigger or seem to pop out, they suffer. That's because their natural habitat puts a lot more pressure down there.

I'm all for the fresh catch of the day, but I'll pass on these. For years we have had to throw back fish due to sore like spots on the local fish. Never eat talopia that's farmed. Dirty. I will only eat what I catch and clean then cook myself. Happy fishing 🎣 ❤ 🦀
