Oh my gosh I am so glad I found your video!! I spent ages figuring out why my device wasn't coming up on the list. After 2 attempts speaking to support with the manufacturers of the device (THEY WERE USELESS), I found this video and your instructions worked! Awesome

[IMPORTANT] If you're using the earbuds in app and have paired them with your phone first, you have to factory reset them in the app, put them back in the case, disconnect your phones bluetooth, take em out of the case and then go through the process shown in these videos of how to connect them with PC. First connect them into computer, so it recognizes it as a audio device, THEN connect them with your app and phone like you did before. If you do this process in the reverse order, you run into these kind of problems that your computer dont recognize the bluetooth earbuds as audio devices. I wasted so much time resetting my computer, updating bluetooth drivers ect that I hope this message helps someone!❤

Thank you so much for uploading this!! I just bought a Bose bluetooth speaker and could not get it to connect to my PC. After watching your video, it works now! I needed to check all of the boxes in the services section in the device properties. I never would have found that on my own. Nothing in the instructions manual indicates the need to do this. Thank you! You identified a problem that no other video or support website identified... the "Bluetooth Support Service" in the "Services" app. In my computer, there were two different "Bluetooth Support Services" running at the same time. I manually shut one off, and made sure the other one was running. That fixed the problem immediately (after every other "fix" did not work). Thank you!

Superb Jon MJ Tube, I was having difficulty in detecting my output devices from my laptop wit windows 10.. I showed it to many vendors and none could provide me any solution. I was pissed off since I spent good amount of money just to get an quality audio output device, the money was about to be wasted until i came across this tutorial of yours. It was extremely helpful and now for the fist time in months my devices are being detected by my laptop and i am able to use them without any issues now. A big thankyou to you. Thank you so much, I was having a problem with my wired headset where the sound was coming out of one side (because the wire is ripped). So I decided to use my pair of old Bluetooth headphones (which work perfectly fine with my iPad), but they didn't connect. Thanks MJ for the tip. I finally got my Windows 10 bluetooth to pair with my Marshall speaker. It appears that the problem of non-detection originated from having another device in the room that was bluetooth enabled. In this case, it was a smartphone. So I switched off the wi-fi connection of my smartphone and my laptop's Windows 10 immediately detected my Marshall speaker.

Looks like the first trick fixed my problem. Mine kept disconnecting whatever the sound after only a few seconds. It used to connect longer but months later it only got worse. When I skip either forward or remind I will get sound back. On good days, it stay connected until I pause or something. Anyhow, it is playing disrupted as I type this comment and I am really happy. Bookmarking this video! Thank you so very much!!

What about when you do everything right and the headset will NOT connect as yours did at 2:22? Instead of connecting, I get "Couldn't connect. Try connecting again." All other bluetooth devices are turned off, the headphones are fully charged and in physical contact with the bluetooth adapter. No matter how many times I "try again" nothing changes. I am thinking that maybe the Handsfree connection is not being made, but the Audio connection is. However, I'm certain that if these were bluetooth speakers instead of headphones that this wouldn't be a problem.

I'm having a lot of isssues with the bluetooth on my pc. It has a very short distances conection capacity, I mean ridiculous distances not normal and I'm using a very good motherboard, the ASUS ROG extreme 399 Alpha. @ 2.56 In your case, your device is shown in green but mine is showing in red and is showing as disconnected and faded icon. So I am unable to set it as my default connection.
